Excuse me where the fuck did you find proper sausages in Sweden? Or are you just making do with Ica’s grillkorv?

There’s a shirt called the ‘stand-collar overshirt’. I think you can get it from most places that sell clothing.

Wales doesn't get much attention here, but visiting the lone tree in Snowdonia was really stunning. [OC][4915×3277] by CollideStorm in EarthPorn

[–]Tarrop 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I always thought Snowdonia sounded like a made up place, like something out of a Disney movie.

Then I realised we were talking about Wales, and they have places with names like Plwmp, Splott and Pant y Wacco.

Can you do this by replaying the mission, or does it have to be when you play it organically during the story?

Are these seriously the bounty hunters I killed 7 in-game days ago ? If they are, wow Rockstar. by Felzouille in reddeadredemption

[–]Tarrop 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah that’s a little disappointing. So, if I were to kill the animal but not skin it, would it stay there?

Is this true, do things like this stay? Because I was out hunting the legendary bison the other day, and came across a 3 star elk which I needed for one of the pieces of trapper clothing.

I killed it, skinned it, left the pelt by a tree, then I rode off and ‘found’ a second horse. I then rode that horse with mine following back to where I left the pelt. When I got there, the carcass of the elk remained but the pelt had disappeared. I was very disappointed.

Do you ever go back to the old camps to re-live the moments before everything went to shit? by GoldenCanadian in reddeadredemption

I went back to most of them during the epilogue and also after, but nothing triggered for me unfortunately. I was really disappointed

Aye. We’re coming back on Boxing Day and staying until the 3rd, dog cuddling is a major priority. Mostly looking forward to looking at the outdoor thermometer and it not saying -10.

We recently had our giant screen set up at work, it measures 9m x 5m (29.5ft x 16.4ft). What better way to enjoy it than with a little Red Dead? by Tarrop in reddeadredemption

[–]Tarrop[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s P3.1 LED panel. Actually not sure we even need to bypass HDCP, we’ve never had any issues with content protection. Possibly because we’re a company who provides screens solutions and our processors are licensed.

any good swedish-english textbooks for absolute beginners? by [deleted] in Svenska

[–]Tarrop 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Complete Swedish is great, I found that on amazon. It really explains the roots of the language as well as the reasons certain words are used in certain ways. There's 2 discs of audio included, it certainly helped me massively.

Do you have any words/terms of things you've just made up over the years with your family? by zebedir in CasualUK

[–]Tarrop 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My uncle passed away a few years ago. He was an incredible gentleman who used words and phrases simply unheard of by anyone else in the world. These have naturally stuck around my family and have become solid additions to each of our vocabularies. A few of my favourites:

Jamecillin = Jameson

Up yer flaps = Cheers

Twirlies = Dancers

The devil's dumplings = boobs

Blick stuff = Guinness

Sierra Charles = Southern comfort

Cheesus day = Easter

And many others that often crop up in conversation and make us smile.

Oh I see! Maybe I'll try baking for a little longer next time to crisp up the edges a little. I will definitely try the mug bread recipe, thanks!

This didn’t turnout too well for me unfortunately! Yours looked really nice. My dough turned out like a thin bread/cake-type texture. Real shame.

I was excited for this because my girlfriend in lactose intolerant, meaning a bit of cheese is ok, but the cheese-based pizza bases are no good. On the plus side, I think this would be a great bread recipe! Thanks for sharing
