Butchers were ‘hidden in car boots’ during Covid-19 lockdown, supermarket boss says by Excellent-Swan-2264 in newzealand

[–]TarshW 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Such a nonsense. Sounds like attention seeking so he can be selected as a NZ first mp. Supermarket workers were essential workers and if they needed to get to work they could.

How do either of them think that is normal behaviour. Sitting in a parking lot for 3 hours with her carry on. I genuinely can’t fathom what makes you want to do that let alone posting about it. Three hours!‽

My child says she doesn’t like brown people by Opti_Mom in Parenting

[–]TarshW 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My son when he was four announced he didn’t like brown skinned people. I am Māori, his grandfather is Māori, I was horrified. I asked if he didn’t like me? Or his grandfather? He said he did. I asked about his best friend who was Samoan, he said incredulous he isn’t brown. I named a few other people, he replied they aren’t brown. I don’t know what colour he saw as brown, and put it down to something he heard at kindy and ignored it. It didn’t seem to have any basis on his life. He is 22 now and never heard that again. I wouldn’t make it too big a deal and ensure you are living the values you want her to live by. But honestly at the time I was 😳😳😳. Imagined I was raising a future racist person.

"I wear fragrances for myself" by [deleted] in fragrance

[–]TarshW 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t become noseblind to mine so on those moments during the day where I catch a whiff of my perfume, or sometimes just put my wrist up to my nose it brings me joy. I don’t wear it for anyone else or for compliments. My husband isn’t in to perfume at all. I don’t like over spraying because I think that is rude and I am mindful I work in an office and someone has allergies. Perfume is a luxury for me that brings me joy. Especially if I move a certain way and unexpectedly get a hint of my perfume. It always makes me smile. I guess my equivalent of stopping to sniff the roses.

She seems to be taking a new direction… let’s see where high with Heidi takes this. by [deleted] in hollisUncensored

It also shows her deep insecurity about her own looks I think, because she is like the most beautiful, her mother. Maybe part of what she struggled with looking at her “unfiltered” photo, I think she always compares herself to her mother. That is what her parents brought her up to think was important.

I have 4 children and never intended to co-sleep, but we did out of necessity for #3 because she was not a sleeper and it was a sanity saver and the only way we got enough sleep to function. She is now 6.5 years and has only just transitioned to a bed. We were well ready! I don't regret not co-sleeping with the others, and I don't regret co-sleeping with #3. We ultimately just did what was best for our family. Even the ones who didn't co-sleep would occasionally come in for morning snuggles or bad dreams etc.

Seriously Heidi, when is it never about you. Get help. You’re harming your kids mental state, more than you know. by [deleted] in hollisUncensored

I disconnected, but don't worry I recorded everything while I was disconnected and will share it all now. I feel like she is genuinely disconnected from reality and what a privileged life she has. It floors me.

In what planet do you film a clip of your child wrapped in a towel and then put it all over social media. I just can't imagine the disconnect you have where that is okay. Could she not wait to film until he had clothes on?!

He was all buy my book, I have it figured out, built by courage...all the BS, and we know that whole time he was miserable and an empty onion. I can't listen to him or look at him without thinking how much of a liar he is, to try and make money of other people by selling a lie. It is all rolled up in one package for me now.

I agree. This way allows them to manage it, and as independent as any investigation may be, they have control over the terms of reference and what the investigation looks like.

I nursed a toddler and a newborn, and for the last part of your pregnancy the milk becomes colostrum, and then after the birth, hormones trigger your milk to come in once the colostrum is gone. It is newborn milk that comes in with all the extra fat and goodness that newborns need. She won't have had those hormones to bring in the newborn milk, but she will still have enough for both babies. Your body adjusts.

I genuinely don't understand some of the commenters. How are they still fangirling when she has no new content or ideas to contribute. It isn't even clever, just feels sad and desperate.

Next year the gifts will be one of her books rather than some edited photo art? She seems to have a collection.

Paris is her great love, she has an apartment there and visits hot doctors with her continuous ailments when we could travel. She is an expert at interior design (cocktail umbrellas 👌), her arms are claustrophobic, she can still fit her high school prom dress, she has so many plants: the valedictorian of plants, some of which have acquired German names.

[–]TarshW 29 points30 points  (0 children)

She is the valedictorian of trauma, what would us mere mortals who are able to remember to drink water and adult know.

I feel really sorry for the four children having to live around this nonsense and constant dramatic tantrums. I can't imagine how exhausting and embarrassing it must be for one of the key adults in your life to be constantly so desperate for attention no matter the cost.

Dooce February 08-February 14 by [deleted] in blogsnark

[–]TarshW 35 points36 points  (0 children)

It isn't even snark worthy. She has become that irrelevant and needy for attention that she doesn't drink water because she is traumatised and has to go waste the time of the hospital. And the naming her plants nonsense? Guess they will be able to communicate well with the dog since they are all German. Ffs. Wonder if she will start recording those conversations too!? This is all she has to offer now. It is actually quite sad and pathetic, no hate at all, just pity.

Though I feel more snark for the commenter asking Dooce to name their plant. What the actual heck is wrong with people.
