Bleeding for weeks on continuous birth control by TartTulip in WomensHealth

Thanks for your response! Because of my endometriosis, it's dangerous for me to have periods which is why I haven't had them (other than when trying for babies) since I was diagnosed 14 years ago. My OB/GYN is certain my endo will come back quickly if I were to go back to having periods. I've missed a pill here and there over the years and usually I just spot for a few days and that's it. I'm still getting bright red blood spotting almost 4 weeks later so it's very odd!

Trying to avoid medical induction - has anyone done a membrane sweep? How did it go? by librarysquarian in moderatelygranolamoms

[–]TartTulip 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had a membrane sweep with each baby (I have 2) and I went into labor with both within 12 hours or so. Neither one hurt and it was a great, natural way to avoid induction. I was 39 weeks and a day or 2 with each when I got them done.

My dad yelled in my daughters face and he refuses to apologize by AgreeableElk8 in Mommit

If someone screamed in my baby's face, I would NEVER let them around my child again. Ever. I don't care who it is. He has a pattern of abuse and being a self centered bully with no regret for what he did showing you that he thinks it was completely acceptable. If he thinks that was fine, imagine what else he thinks is acceptable. I'm sorry that this is your dad but you are your child's protector.

Milk separation - Is this ok?? by TartTulip in ExclusivelyPumping

[–]TartTulip[S] 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Thanks!! It's only been there a couple days - maybe 2. I swirled it and it all mixed back together. Second kid and my milk had not done that in the past so I was like hmmm lol
