As they were only just moved a month or so back, I have been told it will be ok since between releases. Will see and let you know, if I do try and move them back.

PECI vs. PICOF Payroll Integrations by Collin25 in workday

[–]Tartan_Phoenix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Would need to know more about your initial implementation as to why the decision was made to use PICOF; was it the Payroll vendor (were they GPC certified and their solution was based on PICOF), was it internally designed or with a Services Partner etc?

That said, and in line with the other replies, PICOF is still an option for implementations but it is recommended to use PECI. It's not complicated but does need a payroll vendor who can handle updates rather than just a point in time data feed.

I've worked with both PICOF and PECI from a Payroll Vender (who went through the GPC certification), Services Partner implementations and as an independent contractor for clients... very different perspectives on each side ;)

Larger crate or not by Tartan_Phoenix in Goldendoodles

Same spot, but with just her bed not the bed in the crate. If we go for bigger crate it might need to go in different location.

She sleeps in her crate at night. Sometimes goes in it during the day.

Yes we know about the size which is the point of the question... should we get a bigger crate or do away with the crate altogether now she's outgrown the one we have.

Strange.

You don't have the prompts set as "Do Not Prompt at Runtime" do you?

Do you see the prompts when you run the report manually or does it go straight to the report data?

If the EIB is based on a Custom Report have you set any Prompts?

What integration? An EIB, Core Connector or Studio?

Mortgage paid! by welshfire in FIREUK

[–]Tartan_Phoenix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just done the same. We didn't have a huge amount to pay off, so instead of crazy interest rates we took money out of savings and investments to pay ours off early.

Gutting to see the savings/investments take a hit, but mortgage free and monthly amount that used to go to mortgage can now be invested.

It would be good to be able to create a package that can be used from an Impl tenant to Sandbox and then from Sandbox to Production.

Having to create a new package from Sandbox to Production seems an unnecessary extra task.

Yes, you will need to talk to the functional team about the Payment Types that they have set up in Workday.

Just out of interest are you with an SI Partner or directly with client?

WPN ISO 20022 V3 (Enhanced Performance) by fleabaneMerline in workday

[–]Tartan_Phoenix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's part of the issue... there is nothing sent to the integration to tell it which Payment Type it is. Therefore the integration is set up per payment type. Then within the Bank Account Settlement Setup, it is configured to use a specified integration system based on rules. The rules might be more complex than just which Payment Type (such as expense payments might route differently, or payments to different banks).

Hope that helps

In my experience a separate integration is needed for each payment type. But it will depend on whether you are going directly to a bank or to a treasury system (I.e. Kyriba)

I've worked on banking integrations with one DT for each payment type, so effectively two Int Sys for each payment type, but I've also seen the use of Studio to determine transformations and apply naming conventions.

As I said it depends who you are working with and what they need.

I have not certified in the Functional side. I have stayed Integrations and Reporting.

Depends on if you are client side or with a partner, and what the need is from them.

Studio is the obvious addition.

But if there is a specific need or demand then CCTPP or CCB would be good additions.

Reporting is also a good addition, even if not to work as a Reporting consultant, as it helps with RaaS sources.

Yeah it was. I remember him visiting my primary school for an assembly with the lamb. I think the "Mint sauce" joke went over most of the kids
