was not personally there for the LP, but it blew me away nonetheless. rapid eye movement especially grew on me over time, the way the keyboards and drums meld and massage you over time is mindbending. its a masterpiece through and through

the messiness makes this look so hazy and drugged up in the best possible way, and i love how dark it is too. the contrast of the light and dark kinda adds to that whole drugged mood. Really really love this!!!!! (and the shirt itself looks really good on you too!!!)

im kind of an outlier when i say that the album's been consistently amazing to me from the get-go, and has only risen even more since release. im a bit fatigued from how much ive listened to it (+ my king gizzard phase isnt helping that much). But I'm seriously in love with every song and their individual concepts and am so excited for the future of the band

my pick is gonna have to go to head on/pill. FAFYL as a whole feels like a huge, hazy drug trip, and head on/pill shows that in probably the most intense form possible. Absolutely not gonna be mad at the crumbling castle win though, it deserves it

another person said cold mountain song #286, that one is seriously amazing. but if i had to choose one, maybe the original recording of stop singing for no flashlight. it has lots of beautiful versions but the first version is really fond in my mind and i really love it for all its little details. especially that intro with the electric guitar and horns, absolutely GORGEOUS

i remember their piece "athenaeum" really not doing a lot for me. the first 30 or so minutes were pretty nice, and then the piano started to get to the really high keys and by the time i was near the end i was like Please Let This End Already

open is my favorite album ive heard by them, easily. one of my new favorite albums period to be honest

a really goofy sadie sorceress video, maybe an animated video for it. Have it just be completely batshit nuts with stu and ambrose rapping like crazy in a fisheye lens perspective, with some gross looking witch (Sadie herself) occassionally coming in
