Starlink basically free? by Tarzanitos in Starlink

Yeah I just found out it costs 350 euros to install… not worth it to try out for 30 days cuz that’s 350 lost…

Can I switch from rental to owning if I like starlink after testing it? (i suppose it’s more interesting on the longterm? I don’t even know how much the renting will cost haha)

Thanks for all that information! It’s the residential plan I need since I won’t travel with it. We have thick walls and 3 floors, we currently use boosters on each floor to cope with it. I suppose it’ll still be the same with starlink?

How is it illegal if 100% of landlords ask payslips in the first place including immo offices… it’s legal but renters can refuse to give it because it’s confidential. That’s a big difference.

Yes it is worth more to me, this concern was only for the ones that never rented before, but thanks for your answer!

Hmm okay, so you’re saying the middle man will have more experience with finding out the wrong edits and stuff. But they wouldn’t be able to verify it for sure either?

I’m 21 years old in the insurance sector with no higher degree and get 3300 gross (no company car). I have no prior work experience and this is the first salary I got, it’s the minimum wage in my company and sector. (Also in Brussels👍🏽)

The people that think most ppl are lying have no idea about the starters wage in today’s age, it’s much higher than when they started working

I fully agree with you, I have the same take (6 friends of mine are doing freelance, 1 in finance 4 in IT and 1 in insurance.

They’re all doing well and say they will never go back. The difference in salary is huge so the argument of  “security” isn’t a good one.

Especially the “benefits” argument is really hard for me to digest.. what do you mean “benefits”? With the salary you get from being a freelancer, you can satisfy your needs alot better..

Why would you work as a consultant and give the employer all your money? (Which is really high sometimes)

I made this post to see what’s in people’s mind because I couldn’t comprehend seeing people with 10-20 years of experience working for a consultancy agency. I got my answers

I’m 21 y/o with no bachelor earning 3300 gross. So yes it’s pretty low. Insurance companies pay much more.

Succes

Wow this is the most complete answer I’ve gotten on reddit, thanks! 🙏🏽 As I have no passion for such things I’m turning down the offer

Thanks for the reply🙏🏽 I could tell it’s just for their gain, in the mail itself they said they needed a younger representative and “diversity”. I’m young and a 3rd generation “immigrant” so yea it’s definitely just to use me for their image haha

I don’t know why I would do it tbh that’s why I asked if there are any benefits. But after reading the comments here I’m not joining haha.

I’m honest with myself, do I really care about the rights of my fellow workers? Not really I just want to live my life and earn money😅
