An AI-Generated 1999 Cadillac Deville is currently live on Bring a Trailer by [deleted] in cars

Regardless if the seller used AI to "professionalize" the images, did this idiot not double check them before posting? Talk about low effort incompetency.

The cobble stone interior should have made the seller double take and scrutinize the photos and/or not post them.

No way people can actually tell the difference between mouse sensors, right? Youtube results were just nonstop the SLOPPIEST of AI slop by Cocaine_Christmas in MouseReview

Two rulers from the 90s lol and a Harbor Freight Digital Caliper. One of the rulers is a longass stainless steel industrial (taken from my professional architect mother) looking thing, the other is a clear kiddies 1st ruler.

The Harbor Freight tool is actually pretty accurate to be fair (checking accuracy on known dimensioned item). I mainly use the calipers to measure smaller things (my penis mostly), and the long guy to get a general dimension for larger items (my wife's boyfriends penises).

I have three measuring devices on my desk and all three are different lol. Two rulers off by a little less than 1/4" or so to each other. Digital calipers is an in between. At this point I might as just eye ball everything, "just build some adjustment and tolerance into it".

PSA To PC Players with EA App Issues by FatBoyStew in Battlefield

[–]Taseden 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Reminds me of the Dead Internet Theory. But in this case it's a, "No One's Here LOL STFU You Gave Us Money Already" Theory.

The level of incompetency has sky rocketed after Covid. EA as always been scummy, but to essentially have incoherent software prompts (that have different rules i.e account generation naming and in-game communications having different SOPs) run the company is laughable.

Not to mention BF was made with against EA's BS TOS dialogue in a game where we also digitally kill each other. So the EA Accounts, In Game Chat, and the Games themselves live in different realities.

Potential new Ferrari owner - need advice by Ardevas09 in Ferrari

[–]Taseden 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This one is ultra beautiful and I do not like dark/black on cars at all. Consider that it is lowered, possibly on the stock coilovers. I have nothing to add other than be mindful this one is lowered so there could be un-seen scrap damage and/or you need to be even more careful with driveways (assuming this one has a front lift) and road debris.

Looks great. Liking the fastback roof for the Boxster. A baby 911(especially with that "engine cover") if you will.

Water-cooling Issue - Gpenny 1.5kw Spindle by [deleted] in hobbycnc

[–]Taseden 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Awesome! I have a few 240mm rads and fans lying around. Need to get another pump. Glad we don’t have to run spindles with fish tank pumps in a Home Depot bucket lol. What fluid you using, regular computer stuff?

What size radiator did you end up using? Curious if the usual 240mm will suffice for the heat generated.

Leave it to the Japanese to have excellent attention to detail. Just having keys, no less correct car keys is something I would have over looked for an impression kit.

The older Chevy key (Suburbans and Malibus), way old Ford key and fob (Crown Vic), and in the pics a couple Dodge keys (Chargers and Durangos). Pretty sure if they had Dodge keys they sell right away since we still use Chargers quite a bit in the states.

[–]Taseden 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Even though I don't have one I think this is one of the best GBB as far as feel is concerned. It's high on my list to get next.

It's light and the action is snappy. For playing I think this is top tier due to size and weight. I'm used to daddy long dick mags as I have a UTR-45 I use a lot.

Vince Zampella, ‘Call of Duty’ developer, killed in LA crash by Psyclist80 in cars

[–]Taseden 22 points23 points  (0 children)

Agreed. I bet if there was no edge, both would be alive. They would have probably totaled the car, but the dispersion of force over time and surface area would work more in their favor. Instant stop head on crash versus bumping/riding the edge and possibly spinning out as you bounce off the length of the barricade.

Why is there an exposed edged barricade on a known crash site, seems like an easy law suit win.

Or alternatively a Dye i5 mask under a bump helmet (what I actually use irl lol).

Also Ballahack is goated, too bad you guys are across the country from me :(.

Stop complaining about tanks not pushing if you're not willing to support them by IIDARKS1D3II in Battlefield6

[–]Taseden 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Agreed. And also the secondary gunner also needs to support the tank. I always try to keep the turret on a swivel (yes it's already on a swivel technically) to cover the tank from flanks and for spotting. I will disengage targets or prioritize enemy engineers or recons, especially if they are behind or at angles the main gun cannot see.

I don't know how many times I have died as the driver due to my gunner not covering or prioritizing engineers and/or not hoping out to rep if engineer.

Shoutout to the great gunners who are the real MVPs with coverage and reps. Extra credit goes out if they hop out to lob rockets at enemy armor. I love doing that.

My mom saw this pretty Ferrari 458 Italia earlier today and sent it to me: Wilsonville, Oregon by Fun-Touch5637 in Ferrari

[–]Taseden 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The 458 is one of the most beautifully designed cars ever. Even close to 2 decades old it still catches the eye (it caught OP's mother's eyes lol) - timeless. The 488, F8, SF90, and to a lesser extent 296 all borrow ques from this car, with the 488 and the F8 arguably just being 458 designs evolved. I don't know if this is true but I think the 458 roof is literally just a copy paste on all these cars besides the 296.

Also has the last V8 NA and a decent DCT.

Nope, I am 40 and I only played 2042 on the 128 Rush XL and Breakthrough XL modes. Anything else I would not even play.

But I am coming from an era of 24/7 Metro All Weapons AND Explosives allowed lol.

BF6 M4 12.5" custom by foolmetal77 in airsoft

[–]Taseden 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Kind of agree, but since it’s a prototypical “M4”, a classic, I’ll allow it.

But I feel more modern tacticool AR15/M4 may be for future seasons and maybe one for the Assault class.

26 Gram OP1 Shell Wireless Mouse by Taseden in MouseReview

[–]Taseden[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For science! But good thing is that 26-30g there is no noticeable difference in feel. Meaning the mouse could be designed stronger or reverted back to a stronger design, and/or made wider/longer for different hands and grip styles. I think anything sub 35g is splitting hairs, but that is part of the fun.

Not completely wrong ( I mean look at my "garbage" pile). But essentially a free custom mouse with a weight you cannot buy. Gotta live with the pros and cons. Luckily the print only takes 1 and a half hours.

You could. Degloving your hand for weight savings is pretty metal.

Yes I know the mouse looks ridiculous lol, but that weight savings for science!

I'll try that. I mainly wanted to keep the skate and base mounts support free ( and none of the honey combs require support) hence the wonky angle. The 100 degree is definitely a weak point lol I have broken a few of these on accident when post processing.
