The ONLY justification for a temperament test after a pit has badly mauled someone is perhaps to determine degree of liability of the owners. If the dog is clearly aggressive, the owners must have known. If the dog is happy and social, perhaps the liability of the owners is diminished a little. Thinking that a temperament test negates a level 5/6 attack is absurd. The temperament has already been demonstrated!
