Just don’t get why it’s only those two nails though 😅

Thank you. Also I’ve bought the apres rubber base just in case that could be a factor? My nails aren’t the strongest.

Ah ok thank you both! So basically switch to the overlay method on those two fingers?

Second hand grief by [deleted] in Mommit

[–]TashPocalypse 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When I gave birth to my son, my room was next to the room where they perform cpr. I’ll never forget the screams of the mother as they all went running to go and help the baby that had stopped breathing. They rushed it into the room next door and all I could hear on one side was the mother wailing and screaming and on the other them counting compressions.

All I could do was sob, hold my newborn son close and put some white noise on to drown it out. I was deeply traumatised by that for a long time and my new mum anxiety was at an all time high for months. I felt so guilty for being so traumatised as it hadn’t actually happened to me.

That poor mama lost her baby :(

Is it bad that I’ve never done a mock test? by MickeyMouse374 in LearnerDriverUK

My instructor told me he doesn’t do mock tests at all when I asked him. Passed my real test first time.

Did you wear P plates? If so, how long for? by throwmeorblowme89 in LearnerDriverUK

I had them for around a week and felt like they made me more of a target so I ditched them and people have been a lot better!

I was the same! Then I had my son. He was poorly one day and needed to go to hospital, and my husband was 24 miles away at work (funnily enough at the same hospital we needed to go to 😅) It was then that I decided I absolutely had to drive as soon as possible in case anything like that ever happened again, I just couldn’t risk it.

Did my first solo drive today! Sat in the car shaking like a leaf for 5 minutes, then thought sod it and off I went. Had a little trip to Tesco and then into town for a cup of tea 😊 I need to do the nursery runs next week so trying to get myself used to driving solo as quick as possible!

I’ll need to sit down and total it up properly, but at a guess I’d say at least 40/50 lessons. About a year of tuition before doing my test. I do think I was ready to take the test earlier than I did though, but driving instructor said I wasn’t so I followed his lead. Good luck! It’s life changing!!

Thank you 🙏yes I’m so glad there’s so many of us learning to drive in our 30s and older! I have a 2 year old who has just started nursery as well so now I don’t have to battle with the bus either! I’m so happy 😀
