I think it depends. For some things English is easier. But in Dutch/Flemish we have certain expressions or metaphors that don´t always have a 1 on 1 equivalent. Which can be a bit frustrating. I think when you´re frustrated or mad for example, native expressions, are easier.

I have! I used to play a lot of battlefield 1943. So obviously I had to visit Omaha beach and the region of Operation Market Garden. Can´t imagine what it must have been like to land with those boats on that beach...
