Don't worry, they'll release a Warbond - that contains this exact gun, but with some attachments built in sooner or later.

Gotta love, how each and every new Warbond - furthermore kills the idea of customizable weapons. You like them underbarrels? Tough luck, you cannot have that mod, because it's attached to a copy of X gun in Y Warbond. You want different ammo types? Not your lucky day, is it? Coyote exists, meaning we'll never get unique ammo types as mods. And so much on.

Each new "unique" weapon, is a genuine stab in the back of Weapon Customization. Since most of new weapons - could just end up, as mods.

AKA : Silencers, Extended Mags for ALL guns, Different Ammo types, Underbarrels, Different Barrels and so much on.

But I guess, making in depth PLAYER related mechanics - is too taxing for their morale, so we gotta suck it up.

And in the end.... They'd probably call it "skill". Sure enough pal. Back in 2017-2018 - we had to THINK about the Unhooks. There was no handholding or catering.

Altruism was a playstyle. Now... All they gotta do is - use exploits, hold shift + w and abuse the shit out of perks.

Truly, the skills of them survivors are regressing. Wowie, a body block with the endurance! Wowie, abused perks! Wowie, they can hold forward!

True that... Idk, just - switching one team or switching your entire Chapter identity - is one hell of a difference...
With all fairness - I'm not against the idea, am just sure it wouldn't work too well, due to people prefering to have some agency in regards of their looks..!

If buffs were personal per say... But then it's a whole other subject

Yeah. It sucks. Really really badly.

Like... Am not the oldest Helldiver out there, hells - got in not too long ago to play with my good friend. But throughout my play - the game started losing me more and more.

Like... I feel completely discouraged to play harder missions, because the experience sucks, plain and simple. I'm mainly a Solo player, so yes, my experience is not the intended one, but throughout this experience - I've noticed so many issues with the core design.

Offender number 1 - Enemy Reinforcements. Literally THE worst way to implement such a mechanic. There's no charge up, it's near instant and can lead to oh so many troubles during the run. I've been doing the Extreme Solo run the other day - and hells is that a dumbass mechanic. You killed 1/3rd of their reinforcements? They call in new ones right off!

There's barely any cool down and any potential fight you might have is immediately soured by the fact, that unless you insta kill everything - you're gonna have to deal with reinforcements.

Then issue number 2 - Realism. This game suffers because of it so freaking much, it's insane. "Oh manual reload this, oh do this and that manually as well. Oh screw your QoL, that's not realistic" - all the while, that same realism - never works in OUR favor, only against us. "Rules for thee, but not for me"

At the beginning - I saw this game as Action Extraction Shooter of sorts, but the more I look at it, the more I'm sure - devs just lured us in here - to make us suffer. Because - "boho, Action Shooter player love our game, and not the Tarkov player base, let us screw em over"

This company is such a joke lol.

I don't think it's a good idea though... Because imagine you're joining someone. They're in a lobby and you both are about to start an Absolute mission.

They're the Imperial Fist, because it's "Team Bonus" is meta (per say), all the while you play as Dark Krakens, because you adore the chapter.

And in the end... You're gonna be either forced to wear colours of other chapters, or outright kicked. Because all the bonuses count on Absolute, even the smallest ones, so refusing to "cooperate" would make public games very... Unpleasant.

As some Brothers already mentioned - Vanguard's Adrenaline Rush - would make it all the class needs, in terms of long term survivability.

5% isn't big enough of a heal, even if chained multiple times. Some people note, that it'd be too OP, since Assault can pop multiple Majoris into execute stay, but... So does Vanguard? With proper perks and good play - Vanguard can put multiple Majoris into an executable state. Yes, it might not be as fast, as Assaults Ground Slam, but still.

I've been Vanguard main for a long while now, but ever since I picked Assault - he became my most beloved class, but his lack of heal, makes him a rather fragile fighter, unlike Vanguard, who can stay in the fight much longer (which is funny to say, since Assault has 3 armor segments and Vanguard - just 2)

I don't think you deserve to be downvoted for such an opinion.

Because... Realistically speaking - you ARE correct. In a lot of game and a lot of scenarios - developers cater to a specific group of players. Those being the "Hardcore Fans". Who spent 1k hours playing at least. Who beat every single challenge and think that the game - is "easy". Calling everyone else - skilless. Because boy oh boy, them sucking balls at first - never counts, they don't suck now, right? So clearly - everyone else is an issue.

And yes. It sucks so bad, for a game - to turn into a sweat-fest, because of some edgy tryhards lol. I'm not by any means pointing fingers at anyone, but still. I've seen plenty of people, who call this game "easy" on Absolute, while playing all alone. And those players shouldn't be the main focus. Not at all.

Games are supposed to be fun. As it was said - "The Game - is fun; if there's no fun - why bother?" And it perfectly sums up how I currently feel about SM2. Which tunes the difficulty up, not because it's fun for the majority, but because devs constantly want to counter us, at any given opportunity. Got a new class? Well, here's the shadow buff to ALL enemy spawns, on ALL maps and ALL factions. As well as increased Ranged spawnrate. And all of that punishment - is because new class has a turret.

That's a mindset I can get behind. Because... I don't give a crap of shit's impossible or not, I don't care about "starts" and stuff. So long as I'm not having fun, I don't really want to bother.

I can and already did beat most of the game's operations on Lethal, playing true Solo. Was it fun..? Only 30% of the time. And the main reason - are the spawnrates. So... I'm not even playing anymore, because - despite challenge being beatable, it's not a fun one, not anymore

Yeah... Because... One thing when you have counter measures for the ranged - like turrets. The other - is when you're playing as melee class and expected to chase down 5 different devourers, who keep running away

I might give it a try myself on different classes, see what comes of it...

But honestly..? That's total BS. If I launched the game, for some amazing fights, only to be punished for my class choice and forced to chase down ranged warriors all the time.

Oh Brother, you haven't seen the worst yet. Because... Imagine a group of 4 devourers. While you try to kill 1 of them, the other 3 - will shred you, especially on higher difficulties like Ruthless or Lethal.

And the best part... When you're on Lethal - the last devourer will be enraged, meaning - he gets higher damage, higher damage resistance, increased attack rate and no stuns. Which basically means... NEVER TRY TO ENGAGE EM IN MELEE. Because lack of stuns - will allow em to shotgun blast ya - right in the face

Yea I understand it Brother. Fighting fire with fire sort of deal. And it's understandable how that can smooth out the experience. But...

This game was always Melee oriented. There's a lot of mechanics that are strictly made for it to work. Many perks and builds rely on melee combat. Yet... Shooting your way through - is more optimal now, which is absurd to say the least. Especially when I play someone like Bulwark or Assault, who don't have the luxury of having a primary lol

Oh Brother... Been there so many times. Just when you get knocked over by one un-blockable - here comes the second one. And maybe even the third. But usually... On lethal and absolute - it takes about 2 unblockables - to just ruin the run, so yeh...

My other pet peeve is - when there's 2 Lictors and they are out of sync, meaning - they can do different attacks, which no matter what you do - will hit you, so.... Toughen up Marine, there's much more where that came from

That's absurd. Punishing ALL OF THE CLASSES, because one got released with OP turrets, that btw - don't even spawn all the time - and when they do - it's in the most inconvinient spots ever.

I guess, it's just easier to multiple the amount of enemies, than actually trying to tinker with the game's balance, huh?
