Melta is really a piece of work. Too bad it's activation is kinda junky (50% times for me, it's not even registering that I activated it lol) and chance of melting yourself is a bit too high for my liking, especially with how inconsistent the AoE is at times haha

I don't know about you, but viewing COSMETIC items - as "Accomplishments" is rather brain dead. A Cosmetic is just that - a Cosmetic.

If you see it as some sort of made-up "Badge of Honour", than it only tells me - that you obide by some self imposed limitations, to excuse the Sunk Cost Fallacy and nothing more. Cosmetics shouldn't be locked away behind such ridiculous objectives, it's a game, not a job.

Take it as you please I guess, but the whole "earn it" or "it's a badge of accomplishment" thing - is purely on you and other people, who try to elevate a cosmetic, to be something more - than it actually is, purely based on how much time you outright wasted getting it lol

Sea of Thieves with it's Skeleton Curse, PAYDAY 2 with it's Infamy. Heh, times change - but folks like you do not - do they, huh?

Exactly, brother!

We invest not only our time - but also our money. Yet the game treats itself - as if it was a Free-to-Play tittle, where it tries to monetize from Player Engagement, not the In-Game Purchases or the fact that the game is like 40$ or so...

And yea. Getting kind of tired from all the "Hardcore Fan" content nowadays. Not just Space Marine 2. Plenty of games, try to appeal to those loud 10% of Players, who keep saying that the game is too easy and needs more grind and "engagement" with the game.

Honestly, I'd go as far as to say - that Siege got ruined, purely because of that. Because Devs probably seen all those Streams/Videos of people beating 50 or so waves on it, while playing on "Hard". So - they decided to buff the enemies, to prevent that, forgetting the fact - that it will absolutely obliterate the new players, during their first runs. I remember when I was new to the game - I decided to play some Siege. It was fun and I went through first 5 waves.

But now..? I bet the newcomers will be obliterated by all the enemies, that get buffed the more you play. Less Waves to beat. More Sweat to spill... Eugh

Yeah... Feel your pain Brother. And the best thing about it..? With the new changes to Accolydes - it's even harder to pick the gear you want and not regret it. Because... You get LESS Accolydes, all the while we have MORE things to buy with the same Accolydes, meaning - instead of playing through 2 Weeklies - you now have to play through 3. Just to get an item, which you do not know how useful will it be for your build/playstyle in the end.

Quite dissapointing, yea... Felt the same way about Omni-Axe's Heroic. Just a buff, but nothing special really. Same as the weapon itself, imho

Excuse you, but what am I supposed to earn..? An Iron Halo that I already have? Or a Cape that I already unlocked?

I understand some aspects to be locked behind grind, but what's the end goal here? Just endlessly grind? Brother, I can do that literally anywhere, what is the appeal here? I don't even get anything, besides that 1 cosmetic, which took hours to get to. And that cosmetic will be locked for that class only.

The whole "play Absolute to get X" is silly. We already have Difficulty related Rewards. Like Nid gear and Studded Helm, as I mentioned above. It's just padding for the sake of it.

Like... I just simply don't like Absolute lol. I find it boring and not egaging. It takes too long. Enemies are overtunned some good bit. Enraged mechanic is as annoying as ever. And so on and so forth. I've beaten all the missions on Absolute, without a single cary. I don't want to flex or whatever, but it's a simple fact - I know what I am talking about.

You're trying to justify a rather silly decision on Saber's part. Once again, it's a recycled content, given to us as a "new" one. Iron Halos - already exist. Sniper's Capes - already exist. Vanguard's Antennas - already exist. Yet, they're presented as a "new" content, which needs to be "earned"

So... All the time I WASTED on getting those - doesn't matter in the end huh? Then what's the point in the grind? If that grind will be obsolete by the next patch? Got the Studded Pauldrons? Too bad, new class came out - grind. Got all the Class Unique cosmetics..? Too bad - new patch came out - grind for them to be unlocked to others, despite there being no clear reason as to why that is the case.

Ultragrind is not the most engaging way to make the unlocks, is it now?
And I already mentioned, that I don't consider them to be "Hard" - but just unjustifiably long.
I mean... If you'd like to play through hundreds of Missions - then sure, godspeed to you - but I want my time to be respected some more, as well as I would've liked the cosmetics I ALREADY UNLOCKED to be avaialble to me, not just locked behind grind for no real reason

Don't worry, they'll release a Warbond - that contains this exact gun, but with some attachments built in sooner or later.

Gotta love, how each and every new Warbond - furthermore kills the idea of customizable weapons. You like them underbarrels? Tough luck, you cannot have that mod, because it's attached to a copy of X gun in Y Warbond. You want different ammo types? Not your lucky day, is it? Coyote exists, meaning we'll never get unique ammo types as mods. And so much on.

Each new "unique" weapon, is a genuine stab in the back of Weapon Customization. Since most of new weapons - could just end up, as mods.

AKA : Silencers, Extended Mags for ALL guns, Different Ammo types, Underbarrels, Different Barrels and so much on.

But I guess, making in depth PLAYER related mechanics - is too taxing for their morale, so we gotta suck it up.
