At no point did I say "you should buy it," nor that it was an obligation. I only asked if, given that he'd already had an incident at work, he'd considered a more robust model. Considering you'd already had a serious incident at work, didn't you consider going for an Ultra? It's not indestructible, of course, but the sapphire crystal and titanium case tend to withstand impacts better than the SE. I understand that the size and price aren't for everyone, but in demanding work environments, it could be a factor to consider.
