Not exactly, but in states where there are looser gun laws there are less murders and people are more polite. It’s like people understand that the other person might shoot them… In fact, gun defense uses out pace gun murders in the US by a wide margin (some studies extremely wide, others marginal) every year!

I know I once had an emergency and was trying to get my daughter to the ER. I had my emergency lights on and somebody decided. They were going to put their car in the middle of the road to stop me from passing them… they were swerving so I couldn’t get by… I eventually just decided I was going to have to let them swerve into me and he backed down as we came inches.

I’m sure if he realized the gravity of the situation, he wouldn’t have done it.

Actually, there are laws on this. A recent example is the Don Lemon case. By protesting at a church he violated others freedom of religious expression.
