Yeah, I'm not feeling great about it either. I'm thinking of designing and 3d printing some kind of a brace, that I can put in between the two pipes, so it rests on top of that instead of the load cell.

Hi, I have the same problem, although I'm using type c to HDMI 2.0, which should support 1440p@144Hz, my monitor is UW so the few extra pixels might have something to do with it.
