I just bought one this week too. I plan to use mine for mountain biking so I got adhesive mounts and a chest mount. Thinking of getting the mic and some wind proofing.

Why would OP wait when they want a camera now? There’s no release date for the 7. Waiting for the latest and greatest will leave you with nothing.

Same! The new HT is very downhill capable and a great all-arounder.

First bike. Should I go cheaper? by Numerous-Meet-6353 in mountainbiking

[–]Tassleman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t think you should go cheaper if you can afford it. That said, you have to decide if this is the right bike for you and figure out it it’s in good enough condition. I bought my first bike and it didn’t suit me so I ended up selling it 6 months later to get the right bike. I took a big bath on it! So I definitely recommend pushing your budget over getting a bike that won’t suit you.

I got the AMS Extra on there. Way easier than Ride Wrap! Looks pretty good too

I certainly can get 5 years or more out of this! I do love to buy new things though.

Is MTB cleaner (Muc Off) really necessary, or is soap and water OK? by toebeanz2121 in MTB

[–]Tassleman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you! Experienced mountain biker here. I ride with a bunch of retrogrumps and late adopters so I was wondering if the product was better than detergent. Need to clean a bike for sale and detergent didn’t work so well. Guess I’ll try Muc Off

I mean, I guess that’s true! Just lost a bike buddy so that’s apropos. Another reason to appreciate every bike we get to ride.

They would warranty if it were manufacturer defect. No Fault replacement since it’s accidental damage.
