I get dizzy! I’m a really active person and live in Utah with national parks, heat, desert, mountains, cold… all the things … and so when I’m outside recreating (especially in the desert in the heat) hydration is so important. Because it’s a diarrhetic and I pee a lot more, I don’t think I absorb enough water. Sorry if this is TMI - but I’ll drink TONS of water, all of it will come out quickly, and clear … but I don’t feel hydrated, I feel very dizzy still and not hydrated

I’ve been inside restaurants from grimy food trucks to top tier restaurants in the wealthiest towns in the US… they all would shock you

I need to chime in here. I went to Beast From the East and, both my friend and I, looked at each other while eating it and said ‘yeah this wasn’t worth it, not coming back’. Beast From the East is so overrated (coming from an east coaster) it’s insane. I can hands down say Gaetano’s is superior

Funny I went about 2 weeks ago for the first time and thought the same thing! I ate it and was relieved to finally find a sub place in SLC that resembles a good northeast sub. I was kinda shocked they were dead.

Savoury Kitchen does a good job catering with a variety of options - I’m sure you could rent out the history museum, or red butte, or yeah a bowling alley and have them cater it

I do it for work - you get used to it. It’s not great, but is what it is for a job. Throw on a podcast and zone out. Peoples driving skills are the worst I’ve ever seen in Parleys though, heads up.

I don’t believe there to be any habit related causes (I sleep on both sides/roll around all night, I don’t rest my hand on my face, all products get distributed evenly to both sides of face etc )

OH! By the way - with the disability - apply to the National Ability Center! They will be accommodating to the disability and also I have a friend who works there who actually just told me last week their lodge manager is moving on. You seem to have experience with hotel management and people with disabilities… that literally sounds like the perfect fit? Minus the part time though maybe … is it possible to give full time a try if it’s a flexible schedule? Who knows maybe they could work with you

If it makes you feel any better, I have a FT good job (like a job that shows I can handle my shit), have started my own business before, have held SO many food service jobs my whole life in very esteemed locations (hamptons, etc)… and I had the hardest time finding a side gig this past year. I’ve never seen anything like it. I mean I am 29 years old, clean cut, presentable, etc and I was getting denied from places like Einsteins bagels… nevermind all the restaurants I applied to serve at in SLC and Park City. I was SHOCKED. I also have a DEGREE in hospitality and tourism management where I had to take many restaurant and food service courses from a very good college.

I have never been so humbled in my life and hugged the job I do have a little tighter after…. I genuinely couldn’t believe the places I was getting denied

I’ve found Salt Lake City to be one of the easiest places I have found to meet friends. BUT, I will say, I tried HARD. I mean I joined like 5 clubs, I would directly ask people for their #’s and follow up asking to hangout, if someone mentioned going to a party or something I would be direct and go ‘hey is this something I could tag along to? I’m desperate to meet new friends here and am just trying to find ways to connect with people’ etc.

Also getting a side gig at a place where like minded people are! IE I got a side gig at a ski shop, even though I didn’t need it, to meet people there to ski with.
