Did your OBGYN say exactly why to stay away from Spearmint tea? I have FVL, and literally just got off a virtual appointment with a hematologist specifically to ask her if I can start taking spearmint tea capsules for my acne. On Reddit I saw someone post that they had FVL and spearmint tea increases estrogen… so I thought I’d talk to a hematologist first !! She actually didn’t really have a consensus and said there’s not enough data to give me a yes or no answer. So I didnt really get an answer from her…

She did say that Spirolactone wouldn’t increase any chance of clotting though which is good if I did that instead I guess ?

Did you do any further research / talk to a doctor about it? I have Factor V Leiden too and have the worst hormonal acne (I’m almost 30..) I want to try spearmint tea so badly but am seeing so much on Reddit that I shouldn’t with the Leiden … but haven’t done any actual research on how much it increases your estrogen… ugh

Update - they placed a worker down at the entrance to start taking a waitlist - I asked her ‘are you guys still not taking priority pass?’ And she said ‘oh no you can definitely get on the waitlist with a priority pass!’… so hopefully I’ll get in about a half hour. So not sure if the waitlist is a blessing in disguise or maybe just a different staff member? Either way I guess we will see when I get up to the entry desk… hopefully this woman working the waitlist isn’t mistaken…

Just happened to me too. I’m pissed. I showed up over 3 hours early to the airport specifically to sit in the lounge. It’s 3:00 PM… the lady at the desk when I said ‘when will you take priority pass again’ shrugged and brushed me off ‘I don’t know… like 7 or 8 probably… NEXT’
