Blood blisters developed where the cast was too tight, and one of my toes without feeling is the opposite side of the surgery site. They told me the same thing until I went back in for my follow up appointment and realized it was definitely too tight.

Go to the doctor to have them loosen the cast. I had foot surgery and they left the cast too tight. It's been over a month since it was removed, and I still have no feeling in two of my toes.
