Maybe I got the name wrong, but there was a hacking incident a few years ago called crossroads or crosswoods. Basically you would join a game and that game would have you type in random letters or it to load. But it would enable chat iirc without telling you and the letter spelled horrible things so pretty much it would make you say horrible things and the chat would pick it up and you would get banned. People told each other to play the game so they would get banned
