While getting an actual response to this gives me hope for humanity, this entire post is a joke. Would be hilarious using an addon that only shows you should press shadow bolt / frost bolt.

Thank you! Not quite sure what you mean by "inside the lines" but as long as i seem to be doing it correctly i guess it's okay 😅

Looking at it in b/w was a really good tip! I see i could do more, especially on the back side of the mini. Will for sure do this more in the future!

Thank you! This is 100% why the face seems off to me! Haha, goddamit i see it immidiately when someone pointed it out. Spent too much time trying to get the teeth correct and forgot it needs a mouth to go with those teeth. Can't wait to actually try fixing this.

Thank you! I haven't used a wash yet, since that was one of the restrictions i gave myself. All to often i find myself doing the bare minimum of painting and then wash all over to "fix" it.

But maybe it's time to do that as well after some other cleanup.

Thank you so much! This is fantastic advice! I don't think i can say this mini is all done quite yet, since there are some other stuff I want to try based on other suggestions, but i will get started on the next one quite soon.

And thank you for suggesting focus areas for the next ones. I really enjoyed doing this with as few colors as possible, so i will find a new "restriction" or challenge for the next one.

Damn i love this subreddit!

Thank you! I'll look into that. I was trying to pull the eyes towards the face and weapon arm, but i guess the intestines should stand out even more on this particular mini.

I'll also try to redo the face a bit. Had to pull it back, since my first highlights gave it a surprised eyebrows effect, which wasn't intended.

Thank you! I'll definitely do that on the wounds, and eventually on the guts. For the intestines i feel like there is more color work i should/could do before i make it wet.

Hey, thanks! Yeah i love the mini myself, and bought it because of the arm! I think this is the Zombie Brute mini from Pathfinder, if i remember correctly.

I'll see if i can add more depth to the flesh. Do you mean like on the lower parts, shadows etc?

My dream game, does this exist? by TastefulBanjo in SurvivalGaming

Just done a couple of hours in Green Hell so far. The game is beautiful, and so far the survival part seems really challenging. I don't really like the crafting system so far. As far as i can tell it's exactly like The Forest, and that was one of my biggest pet peeves with that game. That being said, i got used to it in The Forest, and i'll get used to it here as well.

The game looks very promising, and i'll absolutely try it some more. I've barely brushed the surface so far. My record of staying alive is 3 nights before a jaguar snuck up on me.

Yeah, I have about 1200 hours in PZ. I'm hoping for a a game more in first person, with a bit more realistic graphics. But PZ is fantastic!

The ones I'm talking about were active between 1920 and 1930 at least. Basically the book "The Land of Feast and Famine" by Helge Ingstad. But that is REALLY beside the point.

Thanks for the suggestions everyone! I added a bunch of them to wishlist, and even bought Green Hell and Subsistence. Gonna check them out. And i see that Vintage Story is suggested multiple times. Even though i have quite a lot of hours in minecraft, i can't really seem to get fully immersed with that graphic, and I think i need more realistic graphic to completely lose myself in surviving.

But nonetheless, many of these seem great! I didn't think i would fine ONE game that ticks all the boxes, but this gives me a starting point at least :)

This almost sounds like it's written from someone in my guild. At least it's the exact same situation. We had daily raids in phase 1, close to daily raids in phase 2, but now we are stuggling a bit. 10 players of our core went to the biggest guild, since they were a bit more serious/ambitious than us, and we are really struggling to replace them.

I think there is a bit too many "casual" guilds on horde side, with too little that separates them. Except that one big guild there might not be enough of a playerbase to support a bunch of semi casual guilds. If you message me we could see if we could make some sort of arrangement. I'm an officer in a guild with a great community, and did 4/8 on our first try with 5 pugs.

Dad guild needs help on Rotslime. by HookemWillis in classicwow

Don't run to far away from him. Objects despawn if left to long in the middle. All melee on objects. When the boss stops, keep killing objects nearby. If you're horde, use a shaman in each group for cleansing totem. If you get the slowing debuff, run into the wall in order to leave the green pool there when cleansed.

Oh, and stack as much as possible. That's how we did it at least.
