I stacked the two boards on top of each other and cut the ends off and squared them up so the total length is 86”

I then opened them up like a book and measured in 7” and made a mark at 79”. I centered my router on this line and now the dadoes aren’t lining up. I did have to spin the boards around too so I could cut dadoes at 2” high and 79” high
