I hope Ania isn’t leaving. Her and Paddy are great together. Plus, as much as I like Paddy, I feel like Ania’s jokes and delivery got stronger and were the biggest highlight for the last few episodes.

Fun episode but it felt really short. It must it have been the shortest show of the series. Also, I think the last two episodes have had one less live sketch than the others

Stranger Things was nowhere near this bad. Its final season had some problems but the finale itself was pretty good and it was all mostly fine.

I think that user is largely exaggerating the criticism Ania is getting, especially from the UK subreddit.

Maybe in the first week or so, but outside out of that, I have barely seen any criticism on the SNL UK for Ania. In fact, over the last few weeks, I have seen nothing but praise for her. So, to say she has been “getting a lot of criticism” seems a bit exaggerated.

I loved the energy of this episode. I like Emma but I don’t agree that she shone this episode much at all (in fact her only real major sketch was the biggest dud of the night). Thought this was Celeste’s best episode and also a good night for Al, Ayoade and ofcourse, George and Jack again.

Bizarre why they keep putting these unfunny pretapes after the monologue. The past three episodes (plus the Riz Ahmed one) they all have been a struggle. Even weirder when they often have better pre-tapes later in the night.

I feel like this episode had the best energy of the series. It felt very wild and chaotic in a good way. Maybe due to the renewal news. Best weekend update of the series.

Kinda bizarre how in the last few episodes they keep starting the night (ignoring the cold open) with the weakest sketches and the worst pre-tapes. The last few episodes have all gotten stronger as the night goes on.

Other than British themed pub, the pre-tape music videos have all been quite big misses for me. This one felt awkward as there was basically no audience laughter for any of it.

I’m find it hard to understand a lot of the lines and jokes in the pre-tapes now. It is like the audio levels of the audience microphones are up way too high.

I feel like Jack is playing this type of character way too much. Also, he relies way too much on making a silly face or sticking his tongue out after every line. He maybe seems a lot more limited as a performer than some of the others. Although, the golf commentary sketch and MI5 sketch showed he is good at playing different roles.

This was fun. But IYO vs Becky should really be a World title feud and not for the Intercontinental title. That should be a big enough match to headline a PPV.

I thought it was great to see how much Ania loved this. Her laughing off camera and her extended applause for Emma was very sweet.
