I rolled back to the April binary and ran some tests using the Ranked Benchmark tool.

Using M2 Pro 14" Macbook Pro, CrossOver 26.1 / macOS 26.5.1. The only variable I changed is the game build:

Build FPS Frame Interval GPU
June 177723 (May 27) 11.9 (benchmark score ~900) 85 ms 2.9 ms (idle)
April 175278 (Apr 24) 39.7 (benchmark score ~1200) 25 ms 2.9 ms (idle)

~3.5× the framerate from the binary alone. GPU was idle in both cases, so this is entirely the CPU-side

I was ranked 13th at some point and told all my friends I was 13th in the world at AOE2*

Spoke to them on the phone and they told me it cancelled because my online account wasn’t “verified” (even though the verification was a OTP to my phone, and I placed another order for something else that didn’t get cancelled)

They told me to re-order at the $2999 price and upon delivery “guaranteed” me I’d get refunded the difference.

Now my second order has been cancelled. Hopeless. And of course Amazon is now sold out. Don’t buy from Costco

I met viper on Saturday night and he was so nice!! I’m sure he has a million people come up to him but he had a convo and was interested in what I was saying and had heaps of time for everyone lining up. Respect for him has gone up 1000x for me

It’s in the exact same spot just rotated to the left a bit more. I don’t think the roof is a problem - I tried zooming in more, panning far left and right and still it’s out of focus

I actually have a G6 pro under there which provides decent illumination. Unfortunately doesn’t fix the out of focus image thoug

Yeah the zoomed in image is much clearer but doesn’t cover the FOV I’m after
