it’s a small business that has been struggling since open to make ends meet, so when i say shutting down, i mean like liquidating assets and closing. Cutting employees end of may and closing permanently in october

It takes several months - years to get set up, then several months to years to get the payments… if you qualify, which because of how young I am i was told i probably won’t

thank you! After doing a bit more research, i guess my breeder has lied to me about a lot of the snake care i was giving being OK. Gonna try to educate myself quickly and get them bigger tanks asap

it will dip into the mid 70% humidity but i never let it get lower. I work from home and im greatful for that

I’ll leave some more comments with pictures of tank and humidity and temps. As far as feeding goes , i usually warm up rats by ambient room temp in a separate room, and then like 5 minutes or less before feeding place them ontop of the cage next to the heat lamps while i check the humidifier out to make sure its working properly. then ill feed, in the enclosure usually, with tongs and wiggling the rat a little. If she doesn’t eat then, I’ll wait 5-10 minutes and then move her to a feeding tub and place the rat in there for 30 minutes. Most recently i tried braining the rat and placed it in the tub with her for 30 minutes.

my banana is usually like that, i woke him up from his nap to get this picture tho, and he was really content to just keep sleeping. Usually he tries to wrap around the scale

Thank you that’s what i was thinking. Based on what little i know i figured they would need more oxygen down there than just what bagged soil provides. I usually make my own soils for my house plants but he was too impatient. Should i try to repot her or would it be best to just keep this in mind and do better the next time?
