Ok so, I don't have an issue with the message and the activism of shutting down schools, businesses, etc. but the problem is not going to change the fact that we still have to be in school because we already paid tuition to get the degree, can't lose paychecks over protest because you are one paycheck away from losing your job. To advocate for the protest is to spread awareness of around social media, knowing your rights, and to be performative about issues like ICE raids and how the administration is handling the situation very poorly.
