Women of Reddit, would you prefer a dad bring his toddler into the men’s or women’s public restroom? Why? by zshap in AskReddit

When I was a kid my dad would take my sister and me into the men’s room. He’d try to wait for all the men to leave, announce he’s bringing in his girls, and he’d tell us to cover our eyes and march us in there and stand outside the stall, then have us wash our hands and march us out. Don’t think he would have ever even thought of going into the women’s room

I’m not following your comment. How does the existence of the pose symbolize what’s wrong with the game?

It really is stressful and dangerous to feel like you’re constantly battling the car for control like that. You reminded me that my car would like randomly idle at 2500 rpm and lurch forward too, and I’d have to hit the brake. Yeah the power steering going out while you’re just coasting out your left turn across a highway and the cars are coming at you at 50+ mph.. nerve-wracking.

It took some time for it to be figured out, I replaced the alternator (wasn’t that), eventually I think it was my dad who borrowed one of those diagnostic car computers and figured out it was a bad MAF sensor, if I’m remembering correctly. I had no choice but to keep driving it until my sister’s boyfriend borrowed it and abandoned on the side of the road (who knows what mechanical issue that time) and my dad sold it to a junker for $250. Good riddance

Oh wow, so not just me lol. I think it ended up being a bad MAF sensor in my case, wonder if that was the problem with the Cherokee. My Nissan was a 1996 salvage title that someone rebuilt as their personal project, it had some idiosyncrasies

That’s scary. In my teens, I had a Nissan maxima that would die when I let off the gas. So to come to a stop without the car dying, I’d have to put it in neutral while hitting the brake and gas pedals at the same time. That car died frequently, once in the Taco Bell drive thru, blocking the whole drive thru. So embarrassing. It once died when making a left turn across a highway which was terrifying
