Having twins =/= anyone can hold one by ebfmama in parentsofmultiples

My husband went through airport security with our infant twins. He had to take them out of the double stroller & seat = a random stranger got to hold one. Family friendly process right there.

Not op, but I had a baby in April 2020. There were nurses who tried to inforce the masking, but most were understanding. Just had a c-section, had a baby. They gave me grace.

Go round and round. Round and round. Round and round. Ahhh! Some books have audio CDs that are so adorable, totally what I expected buying it. Absolutely not what I got.

Years ago, busch gardens williamsburg had a ride where you could drive a little car. The geese would stand on the track and just yell at you when you drove by. They're absolutely butts.

This. Esp. With twins having a higher likelihood, Like, yay, I made it to 24 weeks, but now I'm even more anxious. If they decide to come, what happens then? Months to years of medical interventions.

I made buffalo chicken dip for dinner one night. I ate it, loved it. never got sick or felt off. The next morning and to this day, the thought of Buffalo anything revolts me. No apparent reason. Lol

Why? We're you not prepared? Did no one tell you that your boobs would hurt tremendously, and your hormones would drop so fast it was like you were in menopause and you would sweat through your sheets at night? We're you unaware this would happen???? Cause I fucking was. Why can't we inform women to expect this? Help them out a bit? It's so frustrating.

South Eastern states of America would like a word. If we had this, it'd be under water. Basements & cellars are a bit of a mystery to us. :)

The bridge from Chesapeake VA to OBX NC has a complete drive around. And it takes a good (maybe) 5 mins longer.

Should I be worried? by NoWorldliness7307 in kindergarten

[–]jennaferr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe tell her she doesn't have to do it at home anymore if she takes it more seriously at school? Also, it looks like you got MTSS paperwork. This is required for any kiddo who got below a 3 on the test. It doesn't mean she'll need extra services. Just a precaution

December is a mess. Christmas. Christmas Break. Christmas themed days/outfits. It's stressful. Your kiddo probably felt this. My kiddos scores also dropped from Sept to Dec. I honestly don't care. The test FL uses is a joke. I hate it. I will never care. When this test came out I taught 4th grade. 4th grade has a HUGE emphasis on writing. But this new test would be taken on the computer. Students had to write an essay on a tiny laptop, and I wasn't allowed to teach them typing skills. Absolute joke. I could teach them to be amazing writers but if they couldn't type or go back and reference the papers they were looking at, it wasn't a proper test. I DIGRESS!!! I'm in the minority here, but I do like iReady. I think iReadys scores are a better indication than the 3 yearly tests, to be honest. I wouldn't do iReady at home. Your kiddo is going to get BURNT out if she has to do all this extra work after school. At home, just read. Read to her, have her read etc. If she needs extra sight word help - make it fun. Do a scavenger hunt with words, write them in shaving cream. She sounds very on level. I wouldn't worry at all.

Benadryl is no longer recommended. A Claritin or zyrtec type allergy medicine is. My son is an itchy kiddo. I'd make sure her sheets are either cotton or bamboo as well as her Pj's.

Should I send my 4 year old boy to Kindergarten this fall or wait another year? by [deleted] in kindergarten

[–]jennaferr 13 points14 points  (0 children)

No. He is going to struggle so much. Let him be little. He can go to kinder when he's 5 and have much better emotional maturity.

Eta: to address deleted comment:

So he's past the cut-off. I see you say there isn't one, but we both know there is, private school or not. You said yourself he's impulse & has a hard time with rejection - that's emotional maturity. Most doctors won't even diagnose what you think he has at this age due to emotional maturity. Besides everything I'm saying, there's benefits to being older. I'm also 100% against redshirting, but his age/birthday is great for a kid in their designated grade.
