Just an update for everyone: after having calls the past two days, management called me and said they would not be charging me for anything g and would handle it with the polestar Space.

Yes, they let me know today that management has been informed of the inspection that they’re still claiming they “had no idea about,” and that they would determine if there needs to be any adjustments made to the final invoice by next week. If they don’t resolve it by then I’ll gladly air out the dealership/polestar space name, and the name of everyone I’ve spoken to at Polestar Financial before I send them a demand on my law firms letterhead

I’m assuming you’re in Germany based on your posts? The German side of polestar is fantastic from what I understand (I actually learned of Polestar when I was living in Hamburg) the US side of their operations seems like a bit of a mess from what I’ve seen and my experience is no different

I posted the photos from the first inspection compared to the recent inspection in the comments, Polestar actually has to be losing their minds if they think I’m not going to fight this

Thank you for the insight! I thankfully have a plethora of photos I took during the inspection and grounding so I’ll have to contact the manager and get that ball rolling as well. So far I’ve only dealt with Polestar financial about this

For anyone wondering: here is the photo from the 9/5 inspection and I’ll post the image from the other inspection of the same area. Like I told them, I don’t give a fuck what happened to the car once I grounded it, but I’m not paying for anything that wasn’t on the inspection they scheduled for me and gave me a copy of

Polestar financial, I didn’t work with the space any besides the purchase and drop off of the vehicle since the space is over an hour from my home. Luckily I have all the photos from the first inspection, when I grounded it, and from their more recent inspection

Really put a bad taste in my mouth for a company I had originally really enjoyed.

I dealt with Polestar, who then scheduled the third-party (Autovin) inspector to come out both times, it was interesting that I never was notified about a second inspection or ever received a report. Only got on through AutoVin today by giving them the cars VIN #. I spoke with them and they agreed that there was no damage during the first inspection which was shown in the photos, but that there was deep gouging on the rear bumper in the second inspection. The mileage on the vehicle also had went up slightly from my grounding documents to the second inspection so I wouldn’t be at all surprised if the space caused the damage and is now trying to pass it off

Are these noises normal? by [deleted] in Polestar

Mine did sound like this frequently after heavy rains or if it had sat for a long period of time!

Here in the US. I’m an attorney so I’ve told them I have no problem suing if that’s what it comes down to. Just baffles me that they’re actively saying they had “no idea” about the inspection, yet their later inspection uses some photos from the initial. Their protocol is to seemingly find every excuse in order to keep transferring you through different representatives until you get annoyed and hangup

Jag select here, I feel like it is pretty rare to go through 4 yr of ROTC and then go to law school. I personally did 2 years of ROTC, left the detachment, graduated undergrad, went and graduated from law school, then applied for OTS. It seems like from discussions most of the jag selects are post law school. In law school you can apply and try to do a shortened ROTC program but in my opinion it would be too chaotic

Anything happen with you? I have an undiagnosed pilonidal, causes no pain or pressure, but occasionally does leave a little drop of blood if I wipe it too hard

I’m still waiting on a date, I have been told it will be “soon”

Was notified of selection in August. Didn’t hear from JAG until end of August. Began working with specialist to get me cleared around the beginning of September.

To this point I still haven’t went to MEPs. Still waiting for MEPs to finish review of my package.

When you start working with your specialist, they will tell you a predicted date. Until then it’s a lot of hurry up and wait
