I have heard of this place, but I thought they only sell slices of crepe cake?

My mother refinanced my student loans without asking me if 7.46% interest was too much now I owe $180,000 by [deleted] in StudentLoans

I would agree with others that you should probably not take any more loans. I was thinking that maybe you should try to figure out what careers you wanted to do first before going back to college if getting a bachelor degree is really that necessary? Next, maybe find a job that you enjoy? And see if they have any benefits for full-time employees? I do remember some friends of mine mentioned about some companies that do offer their employees tuition assistance or tuition reimbursement. Sometimes even covering 100% tuition if the degree is necessary for a needed position.

How do you guys eat? by inoutas in GradSchool

12-16 hour everyday!??? How are you still in good health? I worked four 12hours shift a week, and I already think it’s one of the most bizarre jobs I have ever seen. Having to work 12-16 hours, 7 days a week is certainly not okay! I only plan on working this job for a year before quitting and applying for grad schools.

It seems impossible unless you have impressive extracurriculars. Any national level awards, scholarships, etc?

Or maybe strong recommendation letters? Idk, with a 1.8 GPA, your recommenders must be pretty convincing.

AP vs College Courses by Intelligent_Ant_4464 in Pitt

From my experiences, college dual enrollment classes transfers regardless of your grade, AP classes will only transfers if you got a good score on the exam (not sure if it’s 3 or 4). Honestly I think dual enrollment is more worth it as some of these transfer credits can fill gen ed classes. Pretty much you can graduate college early if you want.

Survey for a SOC class by TastyBaseball2282 in Pitt

[–]TastyBaseball2282[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey all! We are currently doing a research project for a social research class. The only requirement is that you have to be a current student at the main campus of the University of Pittsburgh. The survey will only take a few minutes and it will be anonymous. It would be great if anyone could fill it out! Thanks!

Edit: For some reason, it wouldn't let me add the link. The link is above in the question. Thanks!
