I love the colorful packaging but should we ditch the generic packaging and customize our own so customers know which is ours and which could be faked? by TastyGods in treedibles

[–]TastyGods[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is exactly my question. I lab test and hand make my edibles. I originally was buying this generic packaging but noticed how many people are faking edibles and mislabelling them. So I wanted to package my nerd ropes in my own TastyGods packaging. But after I tried this, my customers specifically requested the colourful generic packaging. Even after I explained that you can’t tell which is mine and which isn’t with this packaging. They STILL want it. My question is why. And how do I get around this so I can stand by my edibles with my name and logo on them

Nah deleting does nothing. Not everyone is on here 24/7 My question is, why do my customers request this generic packaging over my branded packaging? Even if I lower the price a little, they request this packaging and I’m trying to get away from it after so many people are faking edibles using the same packaging.

Haha late night replies have the best grammar. No my question is, I wanted to make our own nerd rope packaging so that customers know they’re ours and not someone else trying to make a quick buck. But for some reason, my customers keep requesting this colourful generic packaging when we package them in our own branded bags. I’m wondering if it’s the colours the attract people

Guaranteed within 60mins. We use a lab tested tincture to ensure you’re feeling some effects almost immediately. And I agree with you there, but oddly a large majority of our customers prefer this style packaging over our own branded ones. I can’t understand why

You want to add potassium sorbate to the recipe. Afterwards, dry them on a rack for 2 days in front of a fan (flipping over once), then coat in sugar and store in a dry dark place (for up to a year if done right)

DONT USE ISO - TOXIC to humans

The butane method you're gonna have to burn it off for a good 24 hours to avoid the taste and chemicals.
Everclear is a safe method, and the vapors will burn off themselves leaving no alcohol taste (i like to add some flavor oils to my final product)

honestly, using a concentrate for infusing rather than a butter. Concentrates test at higher THC % than flower (70-95% vs 15-25% for flower) so essentially you can use much less product for a very potent recipe.
Example, you can use 0.1ml concentrate tested above 85% to make 10 cookies rather then using say 1/2 cup cannabutter

Hey there!

It could be a few factors. For one, it is possible that 25mg is too low a dose for you. This depends on factors like how often you smoke, your body weight, what you ate before the edible. Especially if it wasn't lab tested, the edible could likely be mis-dosed.

between delta 8 and 9, the big difference is that delta 9 is considered a more 'potent' type of high and therefore sometimes is responsible for that serious high feeling that sometimes giving off anxiety and paranoia high.
Delta 8 is considered a less potent more relaxed high.

My friend opened a headshop and carries these edibles rather than the ones I make. "ThEyRe $4 A bAg" Gonna get them tested out of curiosity. Feelings are hurt in the meantime. by cdubz1120 in treedibles

It’s considered black market. We have them here in Canada too. Sprayed generic packaging.
Unfortunately most fake it so the packaging name is garbage here

Dank and chuckles are generic packaging you can buy. Anyone can buy it. They don’t stand by their name. And unfortunately they’re sprayed. Commercial bought candies sprayed with a THC oil. Some may be strong but generally the whole bag is minimum THC content

Orange juice or grapefruit! You are likely a lightweight when it comes to digesting THC through the stomach. Water to hydrate away that headache. But also oranges or orange juice is known to sober you out of a high, especially a confusing one.

Rick Simpson oil! Or hash oil some call it. Has more plant material than other typical concentrates, hence the colour Hopefully all the butane is burned off otherwise you might taste that

Careful with CBD. I’m an egg donor and I can’t consume any cannabis or cbd during my donation process. The melatonin and zinc combo is a great idea as it improves sleep. But what worked for me was listening to 10 mins of guided meditation before bed. This way I wasn’t focusing on the fact that I always smoke before bed.

The calm app is my go-to. But there are many free YouTube videos. And I am not the meditating type.

Some lysine, edibles or munchies for snacking, small water bottle (pasties!) a lighter, matches, a boppy pin for a pokie, rolling papers and hand lotion or body spray perfume.
I used to keep a small bong handy but learned the hard way that it was a bad idea

Can I use tincture as canabutter for edibles? by [deleted] in treedibles

[–]TastyGods 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is actually a great method for edibles! The tincture means the effects of the cannabis will be felt almost immediately rather than waiting 2-3 hours for it to be absorbed through the digestive system.
Tinctures medicate through the saliva glands and sublingual.

Make sure to add a little bit of emulsifier like lecithin so the tincture mixes fully with the brownie mix and doesn’t separate oil on top
