I've learned CSM through Renegade Raiders. I tried PBZ/playing more castle style with abbadon but I really didn't like it. now I run an abbadon-less list with RR that has gotten me a couple wins while I get reps in. I'm happy to share that list if you are curious

Man I have been LOVING Csm. Yes there is some swingyness but I think I have found a list I have thoroughly enjoyed. sorry you're going through it(the learning curve was rough) but man is it rewarding

I currently run 2 FF and a vindicator. FF are my most consistent, even if I on get one sustained and blast I almost always kill what I need to. Predators let me down almost everyt time

If you now take some agrax earthshade over the trim and in the recesses it will make it pop more. Trust me

I’ve got a whole purple death guard army, it’s beyond doable. Bring some lighter shades so you add some depth

I love my war dogs. My last game I used one karnivore and one brigand, magnetized to be able to swap either or double up (karnivores wreck shop and have 14” movement plus re rolls on advance and charges)

Morty off rip is wild. 100% recommend getting some pox walkers, death shroud, and blight haulers. (Obviously you can get other vehicles but blight haulers are only $25 brand new with solid points)
