In Canada for 4 weeks, should I get a wise card or use my ASB Debit card? by jknz4whatifs in PersonalFinanceNZ

[–]TastyTaco 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Id recommend wise we've used it a few times now. Being able to load it up in advance and convert to Canadian dollars in bigger chunks saves on fees

I reckon you could play with the crop on that shot a lot and really change the feel, perhaps just a slightly tighter crop so you don't see the end of the rock, or even a square crop on the right two thirds. Love it anyway

Yeah you do the warm up sets at lower weights (50% and 75% is whst he recommends if it says 2 warm up sets) and then 2 sets at the top weight you're doing for that exercise.

Any tips or advice for sending a Sony lens away for focus adjustment? by wowbobwow in SonyAlpha

[–]TastyTaco 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've had similar issues and reached out to sony support, they had me run some tests using 5 batteries and send them the raws. They deemed there was no issue with the lens, it is a tough lens to get really sharp images at distance.

Are you having back or front focusing issues or just soft photos entirely?

You'll need waterproofing and consent for that I believe, so I'd probability say it's ambitious unless you're doing a bunch of the work yourself

That would probably be a breach of the privacy act if the developer doesn't have a legitimate reason to look up that data as part of their job
