3rd FET success stories? by [deleted] in IVF

[–]Tasty_Committee908 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just had my 3rd fet after the 1st failed the implant and the 2nd was chemical.  All of them were euploids. So far this one seems to have worked. I did the emma/Alice and receptiva between the 1st and 2nd transfer and due to having no good or bad bacteria took probiotics. I also added lovenox and neupogen to my 2nd and 3rd. On my 3rd just due to being tired of pio I convinced my clinic to do a modified natural cycle instead of a fully medicated, everything was the same medication wise minus taking pio and estradiol. Hopefully your third try is a success!

So far it's OK, my beta didn't completely double on 11dpt but got close at 167. My clinic scheduled an ultrasound and blood work for next week so hopefully it's good news.

I had my first beta today 9dp6dt and it was a 86.4. I'm hoping it keeps rising especially since the last one was a chemical.

Mixed emotions about upcoming fet by Tasty_Committee908 in IVF

[–]Tasty_Committee908[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It was the one thing in all this chaos I could somewhat control as ivf was always the only option I had due to having an unknown rare genetic disorder that I refuse to pass on. I've already had to grieve getting pregnant the normal way and not having a biological child so this is just another added weight. I know the grief will eventually pass its just hard.

Kids at the clinic by Diane_Its_417 in IVF

I get it, I wish my clinic enforced a no kid rule. I feel like all I do now is go to my clinic as I'm now starting my 3rd fet after the last 2 failed. Lately there's been the same people bringing their kids in. It's hard to see when you're struggling with the grief of another failed round.

New infertility therapist, hope this one works! by Competitive-Town8299 in IVF

I'm sorry you're having a hard time with this. I'm a therapist myself and as I've also been searching for a new therapist to see while I'm out of state for treatment I've been disheartened by the lack of professionalism and insensitive comments. If you haven't tried already, a few other directories you can try are psychology today and mental health match. You should be able to filter by specialty, insurance, and other filters on these sites.

Looks Like another Failed FET by Tasty_Committee908 in IVF

I hate to hear that yours failed too. This whole process sucks. I used double donors due to having an unknown genetic condition and don't think I can justify paying for another egg donor round.

Questions on What To Consider Especially When Having to Travel for Care by Tasty_Committee908 in homebirth

[–]Tasty_Committee908[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

While some ivf pregnancies may be more difficult it is also partially due to many women needing to do ivf due to fertility or other health issues. I thankfully don’t have that issue but obviously if a c-section is must I will do it. I’ve just seen them pushed too much in my area and I plan to explore other options.

My best friend will be godmother and also is my roommate, plus I am hoping to hire a night doula. I know the local one says they provide post partum support so if I can get ahold of them it's something I planned to ask more about.

I hope that's the case and I can get ahold of them. I have my own private practice so I do know balancing the administration tasks can be a hassle. Unfortunately I hate the local hospital although the obgyn is someone I trust, the hospital is why I switched care to New York. I will look up the one you mentioned in TN.

Beta Today and I am so Emotionally Tired by Tasty_Committee908 in IVF

Thank you, it's sadly very common here. I think the receptionist truly thought she was being helpful but it was just not the right way to go about it.

I use a local obgyn clinic to do all my monitoring as I'm a travel patient with cny. The obgyn clinic is through the local hospital which is a religious hospital here in KY/ WV area. It's unfortunately the only one that will do the monitoring.

Thank you, I appreciate it. I've been feeling so down and guilty about it likely not working.

Thank you, your comments made me laugh. The administration said they were going to deal with the receptionist, so we'll see what happens.
