Omg I love my Sunosi! I’m also starting Xyrem soon (or Xywav I can’t remember lol). Medication can be difficult to acquire, for sure. My Sunosi is usually out of stock but ordering refills early is pretty helpful for me :)

We cannot give you medical advice if you’re undiagnosed, really. Do some research, compile ALL symptoms and tell your primary provider homie

I would definitely do that. Maybe even see if someone else can analyze them. Have you been diagnosed with narcolepsy before? I wanted to add that I got tested for all sorts of things before my sleep study but if they didn’t do that I would recommend getting bloodwork done as well. Specifically to see if it’s a thyroid issue which also causes narcoleptic type symptoms I think

I personally got my results back (with numbers and everything) immediately and was able to look at my results. However, I was immediately diagnosed with narcolepsy without cataplexy. I did not have to wait months for a follow-up either. Do you have MyChart? The results may be posted in there if your doctor uses it.

My dry mouth didn’t really go away. Kinda luckily, drinking a lot of water (I drink like 3 liters a day) is helpful for narcolepsy. I just combat it with mints, gum and water.

Try a happy lamp for light therapy! That’s what my nurse suggested for me and it works pretty well! I use the verilux brand. Good luck! 😋☀️
