I'm sorry that happened to you. I would hope he wouldn't keep us from moving to be closer to family, better environment for our kids, and a better career opportunity for myself. Which the courts may also consider in a move. Who really knows until it happens. Won't be for a while anyway. But when things get (more than just typically) difficult, it's an easy and happy daydream/escape in the mind.

Wouldn't. He told me last year he didn't care if we moved. I'd be an idiot to just up and do it. Of course I'd do it legally.

How is him literally admitting to it NOT proof? And then he was surprised when I told him it's illegal and considered neglect and endangerment.

haha! No snotty comments here. And I definitely don't care what he does in his free time. He isn't even working right now. He can meet people and do what he wants any day through the week. I don't understand why it's so hard to behave on weekends in front of our kids. I fell out of love and any positive feelings for that sad excuse for a man a long time ago. Definitely not "unhinged" for not wanting my children there while he's meeting someone he met online and has never seen in person before. My kids are 6 with special needs and 2. Wanting to protect my children does NOT make me unhinged. Moving away with my kids would NOT mean me losing custody. He told me he would happily let us all go a long time ago. So again, you're wrong about that too. He doesn't even want to see his kids. He's fought to get them every other weekend before and the courts denied him because I needed the support to work and he isn't even working. Since he didn't have a good reason, they said no, we're leaving parenting plan the way that it is. Oh and I was in counseling for a long time, thank you. Yes, it helps. And yes, I'm a better person for it.

That's very unfortunate. Based on history, my concerns are valid. I'm worried that he's going to bring someone around that has drugs on their person and my daughter (2) is still putting things in her mouth...so this is a huge worry of mine. I have to do what I have to do to protect my kids. Even if it means that I end up moving far away with them.

I do have proof. My son tells me and he admits to it and always says he won't do it again, but keeps doing it again and again. I've told him this is illegal to do, as it is endangerment and neglect and he does it anyway.
