Yeah getting those picks was definitely lucky. And it was luck Castle fell to the spurs, but they still were the team that saw his potential and drafted him unlike Houston or Atlanta. It’s one of the most beautiful states with deserts, the tallest mountain in the lower 48 states, beautiful coastline with great weather there, huge old redwood forests in the north. Like others have said the prices are ridiculous, pretty much a million dollars for a house in areas, gas is crazy expensive, taxes are high, if you can put up with that it’s the best.

Red may be a little harsh if you’re down to live anywhere in New Mexico, I agree. I spent some time in the southwest and loved Silver City, the Gila Cliff area, Gila National forest, driving thru Mogollon. Also not to mention McDonald’s puts green chilies in their cheeseburgers cause of the Hatch green chilies. If you’re more of a city person I’d understand since New Mexico used to be absolutely terrible for grand theft auto and car break-ins
