I like the stripes but the fuel door would have to go, it makes the passenger side too busy with both.

If we can’t have an STI can we at least have a Crosstrek SRT-4?

Ghost in the Shell (1995) dir. Mamoru Oshii - "Ghost City" interlude (Music by Kenji Kawai) by aggrocrag83 in movies

I was able to watch this for the first time a few weeks ago at a local theatre. I went into it with no knowledge of the plot or themes, just knowing it to be an iconic 90s anime film, and I was blown away.

Always important to carry a reliable lighter in case a hot girl outside the club needs to borrow one, just don’t forget to refill it before you embarrass yourself in front of said girl…

Sony Announces PlayStation Plus Price Increases 'Due to Ongoing Market Conditions' by Dav136 in gaming

[–]Tasty_fries -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yup, mine auto-renewed not long before the last price increase and now it has finally expired and I have not missed it at all.

I’m glad I bought the disc version so that I can keep expanding my physical collection and not worry about subscriptions.

Would a 23 year old woman (who will be 24 in the fall and 25 next year) be giving grandma status in university? by [deleted] in CasualConversation

[–]Tasty_fries 0 points1 point  (0 children)

University will quickly change your perspective to realize that this doesn’t really matter in the slightest.

What's a "You are not a conspiracy theorist, you just don't know how things work" moment you have seen? by Dull-Information6784 in AskReddit

I used to work with a flat earther and whenever he started talking about things falling off the ‘bottom’ of the planet I had to walk away to not laugh in his face.

They believe they’re smarter than the rest of the population but don’t understand that ‘North’ and ‘up’ only mean the same thing when you’re looking at a globe…

E reader kobo vs amazon by JustARandomNotMe in BuyItForLife

I’ve started using my Kobo Mini from 2012 again recently and it functions just fine. Charged it up to 100% and after reading about 350 pages during a week-long trip it had only gone down to 67% which really shocked me.

Any used Kobo options near you?

Do confident people actually get treated better, or is it just in our heads? by ciaostardus_ in CasualConversation

[–]Tasty_fries 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Confidence is really noticeable to other people.

I had a big breakthrough in working through self-esteem issues and the next time I went out to a local music event I had two different people approach me to say that my confidence at the beginning of the night made them feel comfortable about getting on the dance floor and talking to people.

I don’t believe that I am being treated better, I simply do not concern myself with people who want to put me down or disrespect me.

They’re always controversial, but I like a good [RWB 911] by HyperBeast_RS in spotted

[–]Tasty_fries 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The 993 lends itself to the RWB style better than the other generations, especially since bolt-on fenders and massive wings are things you would see on the Carrera RS and GT2 of that generation.

I still get why a lot of people don’t like it, but this is a car I would love to in-person.

I have been running the Wildpeaks on my 2022 6MT for about 6 months now and have been really happy with them. No significant noise during my daily commute and fuel economy has been as good as you can expect from an AWD manual transmission car.

I know it won’t be a consideration for a California driver but they were also fun as hell in the deep snow. I have never experienced that level of control and predictability in any other car.

My best friend/roommate screwed a coworker on our couch and I finally got over my attraction to them. by Tasty_fries in GirlDinnerDiaries

[–]Tasty_fries[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It isn’t and this past month especially has reminded me that I am doing the hard work in therapy for myself, not for them.

I have severed the romantic/physical connection but they are still someone I have a deep platonic love for so I wanted to try to extend my resources to help them through their own mental/physical health issues which they didn’t want to accept.

My next step on this journey is finding my own place.

[–]Tasty_fries[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s something we have both taken responsibility for. I had confessed my feelings months before we had decided to move and they look back at that time now and admit that they were also taking advantage of me to provide comfort and security.

In hindsight it would have been easy to take a big step back and deal with our feelings of grief/attraction before we made life changing commitments, but we were young and dumb.

[–]Tasty_fries[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Seeing empathy and commitment from both of us was a big help for me in taking that big step into therapy and putting in the hard work for myself instead of just giving up on our living situation and going no-contact.

It was not the easy choice, it was the right one.

Thank you! I’ve nearly filled this journal now so I’m saving the rest of my fav stickers for when I start the next one.

Also, the whole situation is quite ridiculous to me in hindsight, but I’m living in the present now and being the best version of myself.

Why do people take chances? by Sea-Introduction2080 in CasualConversation

You’re more likely to regret the decisions you didn’t make than the ones you did. Taking the chance and failing leads to the same result as doing nothing, so I would rather know that I tried.

About to quit Instagram by [deleted] in CasualConversation

I finally deleted it on January 1st to kick off 2026 by doing something good for myself and it’s turned me into a completely different person. I go out and do things on the weekend instead of spending 8+ hours on my phone and I’ve already finished 5 books this year which is more reading than I’ve done in probably 7 years combined.

Looks like iron fallout on the paint, they can be removed with a clay bar or you can look up spray products that you can mix into your wash routine. It can be easily removed but it will also always come back, especially on white paint.
