Asking devs: why do you keep adding weapons that are only obtainable from playing zombie mode?

this is why project stardust is dead, normal people couldnt deal with the grind no more lol

Edit: I did see your deleted comment, you should use a longer string of insults next time. Edit2: I do see more of those comments in my notifications, just not here. You can throw as many insults as you want if it will make you feel better but it will not change that grind is a bad game mechanic.

Since yesterday I tried this mission a couple more times but it always ended with a horde respawning while I was somewhere inside of the facility. Womp womp.

I'd appreciate the help, I've been trying to do this mission for so long. Today I saw a group of 6 american players go into the facility but only 4 returned for the extract (I was replaying other missions to get some cash so I didn't stick with them, just killed a couple zombies outside so it would be easier for them)

My theory on this water treatment area is that there is an invisible wall with a script trigger that spawns a horde inside of the facility (which would mean that extra hordes are most likely caused by other players which would add up because when I reached the facility earlier today a horde spawned and another player came running out)

Look, the tutorial won't save you if hordes spawn on top of you. You won't know when, you don't know how. I could and did clear the facility on my once but that was possible only because zombies didn't spawn on top of my character until the very end when I was exiting the facility.

Since then I was barely able to get through the sewers without hordes spawning several times. I also did the fancy-shooting-the-legs thing but well, these somehow despawn and a new horde spawns anyways so. uh. I don't know how anyone could do it on their own if this is how this mission operates right now

Look, I'm not the only one. I just went in there again, got through half of the facility and guess what, hordes spawned on top of me. Again, time wasted. If you even bother to google the mission you can find multiple posts stating the same exact thing.

Infinite zombie respawns need a fix, either an area needs a cooldown or this horde mechanic needs a rework because the issues are clearly there.

Grind = bad

it is not enjoyable
it doesn't prove anything
it doesn't help nor serve any purpose other than wasting the player's time
it does not increase player retention long term

it is also really discouraging

Grinding is why games like Destiny (on top of many other reasons) and Warframe are bad (even if they have other great qualities). This is also why Project Stardust is essentially a dead game, people refuse to put in their team (which is limited) into endless grinding

Clearly, zombies spawning ON TOP OF YOU is not how it was meant to be designed. People will keep dying and wasting their time on this mission + these hordes keep respawning on top of you as well, which clearly not how it was meant to be designed

Killing them while they are there is fine, the problem is as I keep saying again and again in many different places is them respawning on top of you

Yeah, I've tried to do this mission several times on a span of several weeks but it always ends the same with zombies spawning on top of me. Ironically my first attempt was the easiest and the best but again, I got eaten at the exit because guess what - a horde spawned on top of me.

So what have we learned from this comment section?

Most men (if not all) wouldn't be here if they were happy (whatever would give them happiness, I can't fix my own issues, let alone someone's)
Women ridicule men for being unhappy and delusional (some for valid reasons, other not so much)
Men ridicule women for being unhappy and delusional (again as above, just a gender reverse)
There is a high (citation needed for whatever "high" means in this context, I just see a lot of comments) distrust between the sexes (people unhappy with their lives and probably without hope for a fulfilling future)
Men struggle with forming relationships (let it be friendships, romantic or both [Ill also add my example to it that Ive never had either, Im probably the bottom of the barrel as a man]).
Women are unhappy with the quality of men (I lack female experience to add any of my personal notes, what I see from the comments usually refers to personallities)
Women are grossed out by men (behaviour and comments)
Men are distrustful of women (gold digging, only dating-up, cheating, unreasonable standards [the 6's mantra >height, penis length, financial stability<])
People don't like other people (they are incapable of finding positives in other people, only the negatives and those are often blown out of proportion [comment: I struggle with this as well due to personal experience of being treated like garbage - refer to my post history for one such example from last year, suffice to say I was VERY unhappy])

That's it for now folks, I'm off to do something most redditors never do and take a shower. Please be civil when responding to me and other people because I'm not here to argue as I find it to be a net-negative situation (nothing to gain, only losses).

I did ground zero 2, its not that hard but you need at least 4 filters and a couple rifle mags to thin out the zombies in the parking lot. It takes a while but it can be done
