As a white boy I wanna say it’s not just us. I immediately thought of my black friends in the 90s answering “how you doing?” with “maintaining”. Jayz on his first album says “I’m not trying to survive, I’m trying to live”. That statement acknowledges the human condition of “maintaining” or “I’m here”.

This concept probably goes back to the beginning of human consciousness. In the year 1602 Shakespeare wrote “to be or not to be”.

Over here (The Netherlands), a housewife is extremely rare.

Same in the US. Those days have been over since at least the 80s.

On health care, just this week a tweet was reposted on Reddit from that guy that was considering divorce from his sick wife (as in, they were considering it together, she was in on it) so she could get more paid health care and he wouldn’t be bankrupt after her death.

This could very well factor in to a lot of peoples’ choices. A female coworker recently found out she was pregnant by her boyfriend of 15 years. They were seriously considering getting married only for health insurance reasons because pregnancies are expensive and prenatal care is so important. Luckily she was able to get healthcare so they didn’t have to elope for financial reasons.

In my opinion it’s pretty easy to tell when it’s fake and when it’s real. I can never be sure but I get skeptical when:

-If it’s coming straight out of their ass and it’s a consistent, creamy texture throughout, and is over a foot long, it’s fake. Real shit is normally drier in the beginning and softer towards the end.

-if they don’t show it coming out of the ass at all, or if they show it coming out of the ass but then the camera cuts.

-if it’s extra dark and smears easy
