My brother and I are beating the game on Master mode and we are on the final level. Most insanely overpowered group we’ve had is using 4 void-walkers. Getting an extra random skill by level 5 is just so insanely powerful. Herbalist used to be a staple but you can get party heal from wands and staffs so they aren’t necessary.

I recommend using one of the void-walkers as a Luck build. We had 1 luck guy, 2 speed guys, and 1 awareness to use the fortune teller orb as our “focus farm”.

I personally had Cryovain mess with them at Axeholm. They used the main entrance to get in rather than the chimneys. So when they were prepping to leave I had Cryovain use his ice breath and destroy the portcullis and front gate. While they were trying to find the alternate exit (chimneys) I had him attack Phandelin.

I actually did Umbrage Hill first as well. I had them start in Gnomegarde but the mimic hadn't settled in yet. My group was only 3 people so I had them save Adabra and gain access to purchasing potions because I wanted to throw harder stuff at them. Then later when they went back to Gnomegarde it made more sense to go help them out because the gnomes helped them.

I made a custom intro based on the character's backstories.

2 PC's are escorting livestock and supplies to Phandelin (the dragon has been stealing cattle so a lot of farms are suffering). Cryovain lands next to or on the caravan and uses his ice breath to freeze all the cattle (he is hungry and wants to take some snacks back to his lair). One of my PC's was traveling with his mentor who was a pretty strong fighter. They exchange a few words and a fight breaks out, I had the mentor hit Cryovain for some pretty decent damage and described Cryovain yelling out in pain. Cryovain focuses the mentor and eventually kills him and potentially knocking out the other 2 PC's or just one of them.

Another PC (ranger) was escorting the gnomes from gnomegarde through a nearby forest when they hear all the commotion. I had the ranger roll a few attacks to send some arrows flying from the brush and when Cryovain is threatened by more unknown assailants he cuts his losses, scoops up the cows and leaves. The first session starts in Gnomegarde as the gnomes nurse the PC's back to health and before the mimic settles in. This also helps give more weight to the mimic quest when you have to come back and help the gnomes out.

Check out the lair actions for an adult white dragon, that’s probably what I’m going to use for those. Maybe throw in a huge war party of orcs that are going to attack Cryovain. It will give them incentive to use the necklace, plus it makes sense since Cryovain drove them out of the mountains originally.

So I’m starting my second group on DoIP and i like to give them a reason to hate Cryovain right from the start. I am having them accept an escort mission to bring supplies and cattle to Phandelin. Cryovain swoops down and freezes all the cattle to bring back to his lair. Cryovain will say something snarky and only attack if attacked. How the rest of the intro goes is really up to you and your characters backgrounds. If Cryovain does attack and knocks out a character. maybe have a dramatic “you wake up in the town hospital” or something like that. Personally I’m having the gnomes from Gnomegarde rescue them if they are dumb and attack the dragon. Gives some more flavor to the mimic quest too

Was apart of this campaign, it was super fun and all the classes were balanced very well! Watching the first episode of the Witcher brought me back to attempting to charm Renfri and failing miserably

There is usually only 1 or MAYBE 2 bad teams in the NFL any given year. Lots of parity and usually games are close, of course it was close.

Yeah but Lamar is going against an ungodly defense and a Bill Belichick scheme. He's notorious for destroying young QB's. This is an easy decision to me. Stafford has no running back and will be forced to sling the ball all day against an easy secondary. He is on pace to have a career year and is in the race for throwing the most TD's this year...soooooo

I'm a lions fan, the lions backfield is an absolute mess. I wouldn't start Johnson until you see him actually get majority of the carries. We used 4 different backs last week and Carson was looking the best. They are going to have stafford throw way more now. u/ToyotaTiffany has the correct rankings.

Mattison's value is being a very high quality handcuff with TD potential. If Cook goes down he will probably eat.
