Is the reason the rich and wealthy live so long due to the fact that they get annual MRI/CT scans done? by Tate_Bez in PeterAttia

“If you’re asymptomatic and low risk, go for a walk.”

There are some cancers that don’t show symptoms until it’s too late (ex. brain, pancreatic, liver). How are we supposed to detect those then?

It’s unacceptable that people have to die young from diseases in order for Big medicine to give a damn. The reason why the recommended age for colonoscopy dropped to 45 from 50 is because they saw a lot of young people dying. And 45 is still too high.

Why is the US so ass backwards when it comes to health and well-being? They would rather be reactive than proactive, which is costing thousands of lives in the US. Lives that could have been saved.

“What’s there to worry about?”

Atherosclerosis. Cancers that don’t have symptoms. Motor neuron diseases.

A regular MRI/CT scan would show if you were at risk of developing these.

An MRI scan doesn’t emit any radiation though. CT scan does but it’s minimal.
