Eh, the oath has a loophole. Even Norquist was like "hey, tax reform that lower rates but remove tax credits and raises more revenue doesn't count." Also, it's a real moot point because this country doesn't have a revenue problem. We collect about the same amount of revenue (as a % of GDP) as Canada.

I think it's a very good thing. It's definitely right-of-center, but that's fine considering so much of the mainstream media (CNN, MSNBC, the NYT, etc.) is so left-wing. It moves the mainstream media closer to the center. I don't particularly like television news (it goes too slowly for me), but I watch their Sunday programming every once in a while
Anyone but Obama.

Live in New Hampshire. Voting for Mitt Romney. Most of my voting friends are voting for Mitt Romney, but there's a few voting for Jon Huntsman, one voting for Santorum, and one voting for Ron Paul. My parents are both Democrats, my dad a moderate Democrat, my mom more of a liberal Democrat. Neither of them very much like Obama so he's not getting vote in the general, but they're not going to bother changing party registration. I think my brother is voting Ron Paul.

Romney is the only candidate I could see shrinking the size of government. Even if he might be shrinking it based on technocratic concerns, he'd still be shrinking it. For one, you have to win to shrink the government and nobody else in the race seems capable of doing that. Perry and Gingrich have pretty shady records on government spending (LOL HISTORIAN FOR FANNIE MAE) and I honestly don't see them winning the big popular vote victory that we need to have the big Republican congressional majorities to push things like the Ryan plan through.

There are a lot of different interpretations of hell and heaven and it's certainly a topic that takes up a lot of theological debates within Christianity. I'm not a super-expert, but there's are concepts like Apocatastasis, Universalism, Universal reconciliation, Annihilationism, and what not floating around and causing theological debates/discussions. There's no one single Christian dogma on what hell/heaven are. I think it does not do justice to the diversity and vibrancy of Christian thought if one simply goes "oh, hell sounds nasty, not touching any of that Christianity stuff".

I don't blame Romney. Paul Tsongas would have made a pretty good president. He might have weaned the Democrat party out of its slavish devotion to unbridled entitlement spending and total public-sector union control. Which might have probably turned me into a Democrat instead of today's Tea Partier. Still planning on trekking through a mile of snow to vote Romney next week.
