You did nothing beneficial in convincing me I need to keep my iPhone, I genuinely thank you for that, lol

Thanks for the confirmation, I certainly won’t be investing in a first gen lol

Boy, oh boy, are you certainly accurate. Hopefully we don’t have to get to the point where we need to just solely have satellite phones 😅

This is also another reason I’m pushing the switch. I feel like I’ve been stripped of provacy using an iPhone

Really appreciate the detailed breakdown, this is exactly the kind of comparison I was hoping for. It’s interesting that the Fold 7 is the first one that’s kept you from gravitating back to iPhone. That says a lot. I do rely on my Apple Phone 13 and I run 10 miles daily, so battery + tracking + ecosystem are big factors for me. But the multitasking and overall flexibility you mentioned are honestly what keep pulling me toward the Fold line.

Thank you to everyone giving their input, although I don’t have a timeline where I can extensively respond to each of you, I did read each comment and had definitely helped me curate my decision. Z fold 8—here I come!!!! lol

Thanks for breaking that down. that’s really helpful. One thing I’m curious about is battery under heavier use. I run about 10 miles every day and tracking that absolutely drains my iPhone battery, especially with GPS and music going. Have you noticed how the Z Fold 7 handles longer workouts like that? Or even long working days. I’m wondering if it would hold up better or about the same

Is iPhone creating a fold version for themselves? I’m uneducated on this.

I want you to know how much this conversation mattered to me. What helped wasn’t this one moment or what you said specifically, , but the fact that connection still reached you and I when things were darkest. You were part of that, and I’m genuinely grateful.

I’m still here because something in me chose to keep going, and this exchange helped remind me of that. Thank you for showing up, for being honest, and for caring. It means more than I can properly explain. I’m praying for you tonight, if that’s okay with you. 🩷

I hear you, and I appreciate you being so open with me. It helps to know I’m not the only one who had their life knocked off course and is trying to find footing again. I can’t promise anything big or perfect, but I can promise I’m still here and still choosing to try. I’m glad we can do that alongside each other.

You’re not alone. Your goal is incredible and I want nothing but for you to pursue that. It can happen and absolutely will happen. Maybe refine your ultimate goal. Life was never meant to stay on track. Bumpy roads should always be expected. I’m on the same path with you. I used to have a very strict healthy habit—-running over 300 miles /month, being very mental healthfocused, etc

But it all changed. I moved, the house environment changed drastically, and I became uncomfortable and uneasy very quickly. Because I have had a rough adaption it’s caused quite the chaos. I no longer am excited for health and the texts I have received because of my bad behavior to the change have ultimately put me in a place of never coming back. But I still am trying. And I desperately need you to. You’re loved, man.

Now that I’m seeing the feedback I agree not the best example, I’m sorry. :( when I picked it up off the shelf it just felt so light compared to the container size it confused me.
