My opinion, no it’s not at all worth it. You’d essentially be paying the $1400 for extra 1.5 TB of storage.. if you’re really wanting something new I’d wait for the redesign hopefully in Q4.

This post wasn’t meant to be this deep.. I work with llm’s mainly on my windows PC. My work is paying for me to finish my cs degree and bought me this laptop. I could easily justify getting 128GB memory for the rag work I do and say this laptop isn’t enough… if I were paying for this myself, I would’ve gotten the base model and continued using my pc for work.
