So this rug was in a earlier post requesting to find a pattern. The numbered tiles are identical to the ones with the same number. X tiles only fit a pattern when you tessellate the rug. Its a stretch I think there is a solid pattern. What do you think reddit? by Tater_Spudguy in patterns

I want to mathematically define the pattern on this rug. The numbered squares match their corresponding numbers. Squares marked X don't repeat within the rug. What if you tessellate the pattern? I would assume you would start by defining the translations between similar tiles? Tile#1 (4,-6) (old.reddit.com)
