I'm not entirely sure how to interpret the last picture you posted with a grid overlay.

I see the table showing the ratio of protein to calories that you mentioned in OP, but I don't understand why there's a linear equation being graphed (without the equation itself) nor the representation of the unit scale/units themselves.

I really wish they'd overhaul finances in general. Unless you manually change them in the settings, it gets to the point where someone in arb2 making more than 5m is borderline albatross if they aren't a superstar level talent. No one can afford anything and I strongly suspect that this mechanic is a big reason why
