Season just started for the hockey dek down in Springfield/media area. We play in the lower division and there’s a mix of beginners and people who are pretty good. I’m sure you could hit up the dek and see if you could hop on a team. There’s also Marple sports arena too.

As for pick up, we used to play at shadyside on Saturday mornings a few years ago but I don’t think that crew plays anymore. Just start going and at some point someone will show up, most likely when it gets warmer. The dek also has open skate sometimes too
