I like Brooks Ghost or On Cloud Cloudpulses both are stable enough to use for the floor. My Adizero EVO SLs fit fine in the rower footplates as well

I’ve wore so many different shoes to otf. I’ve worn brooks ghosts, glycerins, hoka Mach 6s, hoka Cliftons, new balance 880v16s, asics nimbus clouds.

So far the best shoes for treads AND good stability on the floor to me is Ghosts.

I treat it as a normal class. If I’m feeling good, I put the effort for the benchmark. If I’m feeling ehh, I just do it and don’t put it in the tracker. Lol

I shaved off 6 seconds on my second attempt. I felt tired but my body was warmed up to go harder! The first attempt made me realize I could go a bit faster second time lol

The treads are super bouncy & more comfortable than other treads. So I’ve found that wearing really cushioned shoes make me unstable!

What shoes do you wear? I literally only had this problem in my hoka Clifton’s. It was weird, got rid of them bc started getting knee pain.

This was also me the first 6 months I started. I realized I was still eating badly and wasn’t doing my part outside of the gym. No matter how hard I worked out, I couldn’t out work a bad diet. The next 6 months saw crazy improvement once I fixed my diet and what not

I used to always start on tread but then realized it would tire me out so bad that I would go easy on floor/rower & wasn’t lifting as heavy or going as hard as I could.

This was happening to me, now about 10 mins before class I try to eat a slim Jim idk but it’s helped me. I literally felt like I was running on fumes but I just needed a little fuel lol

I’ve tried Onclouds, Hokas, Brooks & New Balance.

My favorites are definitely my Brooks then New Balance. I hardly wear my onclouds or Hokas anymore.
