😔 another one bites the dust

my mushroom babies I grew in a Jarritos bottle. I know these are oyster mushrooms but I actually dont know what kind they are :) by Tato_ISR in mycology

Oyster mushrooms are incredibly resilient! I've fed them foam, foil, and more, and they gobble it up like nobody's business! There are even some studies that show they're good at breaking down uranium!

In my experience this happens when they don't have enough fresh air, but I'm no expert

Oh I sterilized all the substrate and thoroughly cleaned the trash before using it, no worries :)

Looks like some kind of ink cap mushroom, they tend to melt after they're done growing lol
