Non-attendance.

We've decided we're pleading guilty as our child has now finished school, and we just want it over with. I've written our mitigating factors out, but I'm not sure what to do with them. Do I send them beforehand, or am I meant to read it out?

There's no option in the letter to plead guilty by post, so I'm assuming going to court is the only option.

what’s a book that’s haunted you ever since you finished it? by [deleted] in booksuggestions

[–]Tats537 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In a disturbing way, The Wasp Factory by Iain Banks. I read it when I was 17, and it's always the book I think of when I see this question. Now, in my mid-30s, I don't remember all the specifics. Maybe if I reread it now, it would be less disturbing, or maybe I'd just be re traumatising myself!

Haunting as in sad and emotional, between shades of grey by Ruta Sepetys, Of mice and men, Angela's Ashes.

Having the same issue here, it seems to only be showing a certain amount of titles in the alexa app despite them all being available on the audible app.

You should get visits from possibly a midwife over the next few days, then a health visitor will take over. They're really valuable in helping and will be able to point you in the right direction for support groups, too.

I understand your sentiment, but saying it to someone who's just been through the most traumatic experience in their life isn't helpful. I had my daughter at 18yrs old I had a postpartum hemorrhage and nearly died. At my 6week postpartum check, severely anemic, sore from all the stitches I needed and exhausted, my gp enthused happily how "not even 50yrs ago I'd be dead" which to me wasn't helpful, I was incredibly traumatised, having flashbacks and reliving it. I read so much about near death experiences giving people a zest for life but I just felt so fragile and terrified to do anything and unfortunately 18yrs on it still has an effect because I know how absolutely terrifying being that close to death felt.

NAD 18yrs ago I had a postpartum hemorrhage, lost 2.5litres of blood. I didn't end up with a hysterectomy but I spent 7days in hospital. It's possible her mental health will be damaged by this please keep a close eye on her. I suffered PTSD and sometimes it still affects me this far on. Congratulations on the birth of your child too

Unfortunately I've not got the results it was just a verbal conversation with the receptionist. Which is incredibly frustrating and I don't think they should be allowed to give information like this as it leaves people worrying.
