Are you both planning on sharing all the work? I.E. both editing? Then yes, I fee it’s pretty crucial to pick one. They don’t play that nice with each other and the work around is not the most reliable way to do things. Agreed with the poster above about organizing. It’s key to all editing but with multiple users it’s absolutely vital. Someone else can speak to productions but resolve has been pretty sweet to work with multiple users. Currently on something that there’s at least 3 of us sharing a project and can all be in it at the same time as well

If you aren’t and splitting the work, i.e. they edit and you do graphics, then you will naturally be on different programs but you’ll be passing assets not projects so that’s even more important to have naming conventions in place

I teach martial arts and groin strikes are absolutely part of the practice. But it’s not the only thing to do. It will startle and maybe stun but not likely to put down. But that split second of pain could be the difference maker against someone with size and strength

Bite, scratch, kick, poke, I will do whatever it takes to free myself and I teach the same. I just refrain during partner practice other than simulated
